Mods Galore
Hmmm So Today i decided i'de run by the ol Atari UT2K3 Forums and what do i come across...a $*it load of TC's...guess it just took some time...but ill post some shots of other mods...
First Mod We Have is...Chaos2: Evolution...As many may remember that chaosUT came with the GOTY Edition of UT...well this isn't quite that but it's made by the same team...its REALLY odd...but very interesting... because im too lazy to reinstall all these games im posting mods for i am going to get them off their sites...but i ahve played them all... This game ads quite a bit more fire to the game...lots of fire... ------------------------------------------------------------  Fire Arrows...Yum...This comes with the crossbow  ---------------------------------------------------  The return of the Railgun...and with damn good weapons effects too... --------------------------------------------------------------------  We Got a new sniper rifle in the same shot that we have the nifty effect of the railgun...  ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  You Don't Want to mess with these! They are mines and when people step on them they bounce and chase them -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  Remember the Ripper? Well They Gave it a shiny silver feel and renamed it the C.U.T.T.E.R... -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  And the best weapon of them all for last...the Gravity Vortex Laucnher...This little baby shoots out a shell that releases a black hole like thing that sucks and nearby people in...sheer awesomeness -------------------------------------  --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Now on to the next mod...this one is still for UT2K3 and i will get the other games in a minute...This is like a mobile suit transformers game....it takes place in small cities or in space...and you fly around and shoot other mobile suits...and you can turn into an airplane like thing whenever your little heart desires...Check It...Don't Really Have any comments about these...pretty self explanatory          --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Now onto another great game...Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast...Colleseum is a mod that i just came about recently...soon i hope for it to have multiplayer and more than 1 level...but for now...it is still a great mod and deserves its own little section of my thread It looks beautiful and very Gladiatorish... ---------------------------------------    And Here comes the good part --------------------------------      Because there is only one level im not going to show that much... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- And here's my last one for the time being...and it takes place in the attachments window...it is the Matrixed Reality Mod which i already had a thread about in game discussion but i thought i'de add it in here... i have both the UT2K3 ones installed...and i installed the colosseum to test it out and its fun bit it only has one level...so taht didn't alst long...and im not a big fan of ma payne but that mod was awesome...waiting for one called the real world to come out...its the whole movie of the matrix...its a TC and it looks awesome...I'll get aldo screenie tool again and i'll take some more shots...gotsta give me a little bit...

Here's another one for UT2K3...It may be an alpha of something thats been done a thousand times...its an alpha version of Faceoff...a Ant-Terrorism Mod and Counter-strike aint got nothin on this crap...i've only played online 2 times and its better than all 2 weeks i played cs (i still play it every once in a while but im not very woohoo about it...they even made a remake of Aztec for it...Screens are here...these aren't impressive because the ones i took were too damn big...erk...let me resize em or something

based? there is actually a remake that a fan made...replicates it exactly...
...and i didn't mean it actually IS better than cs...i mean i like it much better than cs...its my opinion

thats what i did a few days ago...i went back to atari forums and saw all these TC's had just come out and i was like DAMNIT...so i dug up my 3 ut2k3 cd's and then my patches and bonus packs cd and downlaoded all thes...im still donwlaoding new ones too
EDIT: and i was suprised to realize on the first shot for Faceoff those people on the screen are actually in game at high resolutions...they added a buncha shadows for the mod and it looks absolutely stunning... EDIT 2: They also came out with a mod called deathball (now version 1.8) that is actually like a sport...you have a goalie who can move really fast and the normal players have to try and score using the shield hammer to push the ball...or you can pick it up and have no defences because you are stuck with the bombing run gun...i wasn't fond of it...but it was very well made and worth a try...im more of the killing type...and oh yea...you can hammer whoever has the ball to death...otherwise it justs boosts whoever you hit

I'de reccomend 2k4...its not TOO far off and it contains the full thing of UT2K3 and then 2 new game modes and such...just tried out deathball again...it wasn't that i didn't like it...its that i sucked...its pretty damn addicting
www.deathball.net very awesome...more sporty than bombing run i'll tell ya that much..had a blast playin it til now in the wee hours of the morning

Here's Another UT2K3 one i am looking forward too...Out of Hell...looks like a FPS resident evil type deal...single player only (been waiting for a good sp mod) http://outofhell.bp6.com/
I am trying to find some for other games but seem to be falling short...all max payne mods are pretty much based on the matrix...and jedi knight 2 hasn't come out with too many...any other games you'd like to see?
