Buddy, do a little research before posting like that. www.planethalflife.com

Half-Life was fun, but the mods keep it alive.

The MODs are great and all, but Half-Life is one of the best games ever. It would still be alive, CS or no CS.

And yeah, you'll need a kick-ass video card for Half-Life 2. As well as Doom 3.

Re: half life

I pretty much hate CS...it was good for about 2 days for me...once you play dust and assault its all the same...just damn repetative...and yes Half-Life would still be recognized wether CS was there or not...It was labeled the best game of all time by many websites and magazines waaaay before CS came along...

Re: half life

nah, don't think so. HL was definitive a good game but never that great that it would worth to play it nowadays too. What you call alive is just the engine of the game but not the game itself. And thats just because of the success of CS.
