Well hopefully it will be better (only in terms of speed) than the Tenebrae mod for Quake1.But i doupt it will be as in doom3 there'll be hi-poly count characters whereas in Quake1 there are pretty low-poly count characters.Oh well, just hope 29fps will be the minimum in my system in 640x480x32bit [Athlon 1.8XP,GF3Ti200,512DDR]

AFAIK your system meets the min requirements, stick in a GF4Ti and you're all set for whats nearly the best.
How does Tenebrae run on your pc anyway?

Carnage it would be better if you upgrade your system when Doom3 comes out. It'll be cheaper, accurate and better

man, this game would give me nightmares, lol. takes me back to the first time i was playing RE2 and i walked right by those boarded windows in the hallway...i didn't play that game for the next 2 days.

edit: scary movies are one thing...but when u r actually in there and things are responding to your actions...thats freaky.

Have you tried Silent Hill2? IMO the scariest game available right now.

Doom3 might be quite scary. Carmack mentioned turning back finding a creature with saliva dripping off its mouth right in your face anyway.
Imagine backing away while firing at these zombies, and when you turn around you see another zombie right infront of you, and youre outta ammo with low health. Fear kicks in when you have to run, not just fire away happily.

Things will work even with the slowest PC around and I don't think that it is scary enough for me. I say Silent Hill is a LOT scarier.

The graphics must be set to really low in detail for my PC to run it, I guess. I think I'll wait and see if The Thing will be available for the PS2 in here later.

Your system is WAAAAAAY better than mine. I bet it'll run The Thing more than smoothly.

OT: I noticed in your profile that your BDAY is 14th August which is also the Independance day of my country
