Anyone know how to unlock those costumes in the first 2 images? With the exception of a few characters, I only have 3 costumes for most of the characters (by beating story mode)

too bad i have the NTSC version...my tvcard only supports PAL 50hz properly so I cant make shots (unless you want black & white ones).
..or maybe it would work if I got some special cable.
newer tvcards DO support it though.

Yeah, but none of the BATARDS support PAL 60Hz which is a right pain. Some even fail to work on the original psx, and the N64, coz of some wierd refresh trick they use.

virtually all bt878 cards support PAL60 , if you use a program called Dscaler (http://www.dscaler.org/) you'll have this mode, plus it gets rid of scanlines.
Unfortunately my card is an older bt848-based model , which has problems wth dscaler's PAL60 mode.

oh well, anyways...

2...(even though it deinterlaces quite well it's still hard to capture a good action shot because this game moves FAST, that's why I dont have those )

3 (for some reason I find the female characters in DOA more interesting than the male ones...odd eh? Maybe it's the eyes )

4 (so I dont look suspicious posting female pics and besides that this one's the best in picture quality (pretty good for a cheap-ass card, even though it's b&w))

shenmue, PAL version. (note that the picture quality greatly improved since I use svideo instead of composite)

to be honest...I named the card, but I should have named the software , dscaler, again.
In fact, ANY tv card with a bt848/878 chip and svideo-in can pull that off if you use Dscaler. You dont need an expensive or special card. Just a cheap tvcard and the right software

i am the one...vga looks great you really should try once
i heard that ps2 ver is not much better but a slightly improved compared to dc ver.
and about those clothes
you should set up a usp or sth like that in you game, which keep a record of you characters, use it everytime you play, then when this usp or sth like that saved 50 or 60 times for a character...congratulations you have all the clothes of this character.(well it saves everytime you lose or win in any mode as long as you have it turn on)
