Wait, what? I'm using the in-game slider for AA. For transparency AA, I use multi-sampling because it's not as performance demanding as supersampling, yet, ever since they improved it, looks almost as good as supersampling transparency AA.

Edit: Oh, and by the way, to any nVidia users playing this game, here's a warning. The current latest nVidia drivers (191.07) have problems with this game. Of course, crashing to the desktop is an issue with this game anyway, but it seems these drivers are really bad. Don't update to these drivers if you play this game.

Never happened to me. I can even run it in a window with no problems... but I never turn on AA (since I game on 1080p most of the times), so I guess that might be the prime suspect of the cause here.

Sims 3 isn't any more exciting than 1/2 for what I do, which is kill sims.

There's less ways for Sims to die in Sims 3 than there was in its predecessor Sims 2. I think it's "ways to die list" is more similar to that of the original Sims.
