Until I finnish it I can only write a preview not a review. But yes I am considering writing a review for it once I finnish...by then you will have probably all gotten the game though XD (as I take my time playing). There's tons of reviews out on the net though (some not all that flattering) for this game already if you want something more immediate.

Been fighting undead and skeletons and not enjoying it, but thankfully I finally made it out of that place.

The coloring could be more vibrant

No. What happens is that most of my screens are taken in paused mode and the world is darker/blacker when paused (for instance that skeleton I am fighting usually has bright red eyes and most other external light-sources are dimmed as well). Trust me this game is very nice and vibrant, otherwise I would not enjoy it, although that area WAS darker than the rest. That area also has a got a sort of late afternoon/setting sun effect going on so some areas are very bright being completely bathed in sunlight whilst others are completely engulfed in shadow and murkiness. Crypts of course are not really meant to have any light sources and the realists who play Oblivion would probably be having a fit that they are too bright although there's usually magically a torch burning somewhere in the place XD Although I must say that the screenshots also lose a little of their luster compared to how they look on my screen. Another thing I like about the game that I have not really managed to show in any of my screens is there's almost always something moving on the screen other than you, bats, other people (lots of those) the main city feels VERY alive, enemies, dandelion spores, birds, little fly like things, chickens and/or other farm animals, running water, puffs of wind which blow the dirt and leaves up all around you, little balls of light attracted to the crystals in caves, a flickering torch or two so the world feels more alive than in some other RPGs.

Took some comparison screenshots between paused an unpaused so you see the effect it has on brightness. Granted those crypts were a lot darker though so I will make sure to also take some comparison shots when I next go to a dark area. (incase you fail to see the obvious the Paused shots say Paused on them...) (that green mess is what happens when the camera ends up in the leaves by the way, oridinarily I would complain...but seeing as this game does not have any loading pauses (aside from when entering building for instance or changing areas completely) and uses slightly over 1GB RAM I understand the need for cutting corners and am in fact thanfull for it due to the seamless experience of such a large area)
