Well spelt wrong, but I agree
I like lots of music but I can't think of a favorite. The favorite of my least favorite genre "rap" would be Kanye West. Videogame music rockband Stemage: favorite tune from Metroid: http://www.metroidmetal.com/metroid_...roid_kraid.mp3

Artist? Either Mikael Åkerfeldt or Mike Portnoy. Both are brilliant musicians and songwriters. Åkerfeldt has the best male singing voice I've ever heard (and he's also the damn best growler in existance) and Portnoy is one hell of a drummer.
Band? This one's tough. Right now I'm really liking Dream Theater. Quote:

Fav Artist? Do you have a minute?
If asked some time ago, I'd have said Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica, he's a great singer, with a very typical voice, and the lyrics he writes really grabbed me, shook me, shocked me. Very close to reality, even if in metaphors. At this moment I'll have to say Tobias Sammet, from Edguy and Avantasia, he has written some very epic albums, has a great voice and has the balls to go his own way, despite even fans saying he's become a sort of Jon Bon Jovi. Arjen Lucassen is another great guy, he just seems very cool to me, and his inspiration is limitless, given the amount of Ayreon albums he's written. I don't know any person who is able to get so many heroes from the rock and metal scene to play on his albums. Kai Hansen is one of my biggest heroes though, he never fails to to pick me up with his uplifting metal. Having inspired thousands of other bands he really is an icon in the world of powermetal, the way he still pulls off songs from his first Helloween album as if it were yesterday is impressive. Seeing him live just makes you feel good, that's all that matters to me. I'm a lucky bastard for having a plectrum of his on my wall, *starts hissing* My preccccciousssssss. The final heroes from metal would be Joey De Maio and Eric Adams from Manowar. Manowar in general has given me plenty of inspiration, kinda like Kai Hansen and his bands. Seeing them this summer feels like a pilgrimage. Finally, a recent addition to my fav artists is Placido Domingo, his singing just touches me, easily one of the finest male vocalists on the planet. Too bad the three tenors are no more. Right now I could only wish I'd have seen them live. It's also a shame how budget is a limiting factor, seeing such a legend live costs more than a 4 day metal festival. Unless I include the costs of beer

I never got into them...
I forgot one band that will always hold a special place in my heart: Hammerfall, simply for the song Glory to the Brave. From the One Crimson Night live album, not a single song sums up the emptiness inside from a dear person having passed away, like a 23 year old friend of mine did this week... There's not many songs that brought tears to my eyes when played live, but that one, means the same to me as it does to the band. Pretty epic when they played it live with (artificial) snow falling down last year.

I definitely like too many artists to name one as my favorite, but you can usually find me listening to stuff like Nature Living, Envy, Fact.. theyre pretty good J-Rock groups.
I mainly listen to indie stuff from around the world. But I do have a thing for the Foo Fighters and Flogging Molly (who I actually got to meet in person this past Wednesday!) I could go on like this, but I wont.

Fav artists? Others have listed bands also, so I list them too. I leave composers from my list.
Singers: Elvis, Sinatra, Virta, Modugno and many others. Bands: The Beatles, ABBA, AC/DC, The Shadows, HIM, Poets of the Fall Led Zeppelin, Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica The most important things about music for me are compositions and arrangements. It's gotta be genious and something different. I'm not very interested in singers, but mainly what I like about them is their great songs.
