Well I used Wormie for about 4 years and well got tired of it, and it really didn't fit me anymore (getting older and stuff) so I decided to make a change.

ah..well, I used the nicks "mr. decibeat" and "speedcat" in the past, now I find them sounding really silly (actually they just do )
Samor is just a nick made out of my real first and last name.
I sometimes use Tails, because I happen to like that character (allthough he's a bit cheesy in sonic adventure on the dreamcast)

Did you removed that link yourself ?

Improper means stuff that is not allowed to discuss on our site.i.e. ROMS.

Well, the whole rom issue is a bit sketchy. Its better for administrators to forbid linking and simply aviod any ramifications, since the posession of unowned roms is illegal, my friend. Just because a wealth of sites host 'em, doesn't make it legal.

The last time I checked, GBA games weren't considered old. As for the whole roms bit, GopherBroke had most of the reasons right there.

Another reason is that we don't know who's watching these boards... if anyone from game companies, law enforcement, etc. sees a link to a site with roms, they could very well shut the board down. And we don't want that, do we?

The whole 'only if you own it you can download it' thing is crap. So is the 'old roms' thing, and the 'delete after 24 hours' thing.

The only ROM dump you're technically allowed to use for whatever purpose is one you dump from a cart/pcb/what-have-you you own yourself. And most companies don't even believe that you own the cart, even after paying for it.

But, like I said, it's all crap. No one (end-users) listens, no one cares, and nothing will make them care.

But legitimate site admins like to cover their asses, and who can blame them.

And I'm rambling. kbye.
