Yeah, although I think they are gonna be pretty weak because we have pretty spread out musical tastes...

Its kind of annoying that if I find a song I like in someones radio I can't listen to it seperately for more than 30 seconds. Does subscribing remove this? The FAQ didn't mention it.

No, you can only have songs on demand from the artists who offer them--those are the ones with the brown triangle. That doesn't change even as a subscriber.

You can still hear the full songs in a radio stream, though.

Does it only transmit song titles? Or are we going to have a porn chart as well?

That happens to me too when wmp crashes, it by default disable all the plugins, I have to enable them again in the options with the msn plugin I use too.

So... does that Last.FM also track video file names you watch in Winamp? (hate to see pr0n references in the list )

And does it also log stuff without having to run the application in the background? Or would I need to have it boot with Windows?

And yeah, CidH has just joined the group

Nope. It reads the tags of the file, and it only does specific types. Actually, you'll soon learn to have to deal with what it doesn't scrobble rather than what it does

They used to have it as a plugin that ran through Winamp. They abandoned that for the 'feature filled' Last.fm program and discontinued support for the old Audioscrobbler one. You can still use it, it supposedly works, but it's no longer supported (so good luck with new versions of Winamp).

You should suggest that one about having it open and close with Winamp, though, that's pretty good.

Well I checked it with MS' advanced task manager (the downloadable one, not the default) and it seems it doesn't use any CPU cycles and hardly any memory, so I'll let it slide. Besides, it's a pretty nice feature being able to stream Industrian's music.
