What will be the best country to live in ACTUALLY and on the NEXT 5 YEARS?

World is constantly changing, both socially and politically-wise. Plus we are being witness of earth's rage toward human idioticy, with natural disasters and stuff. No place is 100% safe anymore. Although there must be some place where the things are better, a place where the way of life can still be healthy and pleasant.

Do you guys have any idea of which country can be a really good place to live now? And within next 5 years?

Different people would have different definitions of "best place to live".

Bad thing about it is importing yer stuff. You want a Quad-Core? Get it from America or Japan, or maybe even China. They aint selling in Norway.

Besides, there is only one senctence that i know in Norwegian language and that would be± Ich keule Eule. I want beer.

this is a loaded question. in fact this is entirely the most unfair thing i've seen ever. first you assume that any part of the world was ever actually safe. The earth is nothing more than a rock floating in the vast emptyness. it doesn't take revenge for burning fossil fuels by causing earthquakes and hurricanes. there's been no evidence what-so-ever that increased carbon outputs or global warming are causing increasingly worse weather. so long as you arn't living in a dump you will be able to live in a healthy atmophere and so long as you don't live in a ghetto you will probably be living social acceptable area. what you are really getting at is "where can i live where people will constantly agree with my political and social views because i can't stand to live in a place that challenges me intellectually?".

Norway is one of the worst places in the world to live in. £3-5 for a pint of beer, you've got to be kidding me.

I vote for the Faroes. Nuff said.

I agree with that, but the rest of your post is just taking it too seriously. Save your rants for a Player-X thread.

But there were places where you could rest without worrying of being stolen or murdered. And that's safe enough for me.

Mind explaining the climatic mess then?

Define "social acceptable area".

LOL. I don't want people to agree with me, and I don't feel intellectually challenged. I don't care for politics as long as it won't interfere directly in my life. I am just asking where I can live a life with quality. Only that. Too much simple for you?

I've got this one.

It's not as much loaded as not specific enough, he didn't address safe from what, he also didn't say anything about being completely safe, for example the US is relatively safe from tsunamis compared to Japan but Japan is safer than the US from terrorism.

No more than a house would for having it's supports knocked out from the inside.

I think the International Panel on Climate Change will strongly disagree with you.

That's true but the question is where is the best area to live as in where is/will be the least like a dump or ghetto.

He was just talking about where will be the best place to live, for me it's the US is the best for economic reasons, if I wanted to live somewhere for the education of my kids (If I had some) I would chose a country in Europe.

Where is the "best" place to live depends on what you are looking for in a place to live.

Seta you are reading way too much into his questions, if I were to live in a place where everyone agreed with me I would get bored pretty quickly.

it's my nature to take everything seriously. i'm a very serious person. people close to me think say i'm a hard person to read because of that nature. often times i'm so serious it's difficult for me to convey my feelings which recently lost me a girl I think... anyway, other than the fact that what he asked was very much loaded the way he first put it, i'd say that anyplace that isn't a war zone might be a good place to live.... and on that international panel of climate... i've done a little research into them. they have more politicians in that group than scientists and there's serious discent in the scientific community over whether or not humans are impacting the climate and the effects of climate change. it's always been assumed that a warmer planet will mean the end of civilization but there's been evidence that a warmer planet might be more hospitable

well i would say India.coz its away from war and all that stuff also there is a special place for every religion here and the economy is on a steady rise so we can expect more job opportunities. The only problem here is the political corruption but that will slowly fade away.

And in India i have traveled to many places and i feel my city >>Hyderabad<<is the safest. coz its on a highland it has no danger of floods and other things .it is away from the fault line so no earthquakes too.the only danger is of monsoon rains.

It's more of you reading too much into something rather than being too serious, personally while it's good to live in a peaceful area it's better to live in a peaceful area with a good strong economy.

The climate is changing and there is strong evidence that humans are partly responsible, if you look at a chart of global temperatures it has been steadily rising since the last ice age and around the 1800s-1900s the rate of increase jumped around the same time humans started to burn stuff in large quantities to power machine, and as far as dissent within the scientific community goes 3% of people with a PHD and most of them not experts in the field doesn't really cut it as being serious, besides the point of the IPCC is to convince the politicians around the world to cut down on green house emissions and the IPCC needs international cooperation and so they do need politicians to get things moving.

While higher global temperatures won't mean the end of human civilization, that's just an incorrect assumption of what is predicted to happen. However it would mean that climate zones will be shifting and you will have crop failures on a massive scale, new never-seen-before climate zones will form and extreme weather such as hurricanes and tornado's will become more intense, we might even see the US lose it's position of economic superpower thanks to such events.
