Mmm kanon 2006. A friend of mine suggested it to me after i told him i liked Air. It's also one of the anime i wanna watch i guess. And seeing his expression today the anxiety is killing him knowing Kanon 2006 will be released this week.

He even said hes waiting for it to be lincensed so he can get the DVD's. No idea why he would want those though...

Mmm and so Clannad will be a game or anime? You said game. But hope it's a typo :P Since i don't know what to expect of a game like that. And it probably will be Japanese. So can't read a thing of it if its a game.

Kanon, Air, and Clannad were all games originally produced by Key, and they met great success, because of their great story and characters which deviated from the blandness of the typical dating-sim. It has greated some kind of fan-cult towards key over Japan.

As you know Kyoto Animation decided to pick up Air, and it is one of the projects that put them in the podium of the studios you can expect the most of, referring to the great dedication they put in their works in terms of Animation, music, design and in general the effort that is obvious to appreciate when you see one of their works.

This year they animated Kanon under the name Kanon 2006. With 24 episodes they were able to bring us the same quality we found in Air and more since they had twice the episodes, and their style has matured since Air, so if you liked Air Kanon 2006 is a MUST see.

Now, with Kanon ending, they announced that they will be animating Key's latest game: Clannad. So for all the people who loved Air and Kanon 2006 it is creating great anticipation.

Another must see, The list doesn't end But i only started watching anime in Oktober 2006 :P (day when i bought my notebook). And yes Kanon 2006 has been on my mind to watch for very long to. No idea why i never watched it though. Mmm guess it will be Kanon 2006 after Mai-Hime than Aria. Either way. I got a good amount of Anime to keep me busy for atleast 2 month.

With every game announced i assume it there will also be a Anime of it than. Since alot of Anime series are a spinoff from the games. And now that your talking about Air game. I remember a Anime meeting nearby my place. During the Otakuquiz they asked this question.

Which girl from Air didn't had a sexscene in the game Air... Dear god i should of knew it, even if i didn't played the game. Challenging Proto to give the answer :P Or atleast make a good guess.

Answer:
Spoiler:
It was Michiru. I should of knew that >.< Even those tentacle loving Japanese people wouldn't be bold enough to make a sex scenes with Michiru considering her age.

Well I kind of guessed it since I had once watched a Air's picture book which included some.. er... controversial images from the game. (I deleted them immediately of course ) Though the question is kind of tricky since she isn't part of the main trio.

currently watching gundam seed... quite a nice series, but man, the characters in it really have one bad time after another.
From what I've watched so far, the story's really nice, allthough there's some use of obvious plot devices.

If you are enjoying Gundam Seed you may like the same company's more recent Code Geass.. The description there is a little cheesy but as you can see by the rankings given it's not bad

Gundam Seed + Destiny was great, I particularly liked all its music. Openings and Endings were good too, HIGH AND MIGHTY COLOR - Pride is my favourite .

Gundam seed... I enjoyed it.. But god i never saw this many crying children's before in a Anime. But yea it's a nice serie. Though Destiny was sort of well overdone i think.
Spoiler:
Again it starts with gundams being stolen. But this time it's zaft thats being the victims. So yes basically a bit cheesy if i think of it. And what's up with Kira walking/sitting around like a 80 year old. And he stole the fame from Shin at end of GS destiny. But i never liked Shin anyway :P

And Stargazer was really questionable to. No idea what the point of the 3 OVA where. Not to mention it doesn't seem to have anything to do with Seed either. Except for seeing some of the Destiny characters.

Code geass. I watched 3 episodes of it. Wasn't to impressed.
Spoiler:
Again it is something being stolen from the enemy... Not some awesome shiny gundam but some girl that grants powers. And from the looks of it the main guy will have to fight his friend again, who is in the bad guy armie. Atleast thats the impression i got in 3 episodes. Stopped watching than

@Sephi: You do have a point with Suzaku being a Kira copy paste, I have heard a lot of people having deja vu with Gundam Seed... for the first episodes. The strenght of the show lies rather with Lelouch and C.C. (the green hair guide) who are not your typical goodie-doodie protagonists at all (ala Death Note's Light) if you have the time, I'd suggest you to watch a little more. As a further argument, if you have watched Infinite Ryvius the story is from the same person, so you know what the expect from the story in further chapters (endless twists)

It's kind of one Hellsing ova per 6 months according to what I recall seeing somewhere. I guess it is a compilation of the manga volumes, is it not?
But it was nice in my opinion, it could allow you seeing it twice but with different aspects.

Is the Hellsing OVA actually a remake or not? I've been thinking of getting them but if they're "just" the same I'm not going to waste my time and money. I mean is there a difference big enough to make it worth it?
