Do you have any link??

ANd you started Last year with the anime and still aren't at eps299
I started about 2Months ago and and I am at eps 285 (Ok I could get out off my bed for a Whole Week and watched the whole week non stop but that doesn't care )
As i said earlier i never bothered watching One piece. It scared me to think i have to watch that many episodes to catch up.

Btw. Can people share there opinion about Evangelion. I watched a few month ago. And ugh.. The last few episodes felt like reading a book. And it was confusing as hell. To sum things up.. imo it sucked.... I'm not a Christian nor know much about the bible. So perhaps thats the reason. But it was damn confusing and last few episodes where just a chore to read true...

I guess your opinions doesn't differ from most of people. Well you see, I guess they made an ending like that because the main story was about the kids' mind (specially Shinji) and the world is the secondary. That thing named instrumentality is confusing that's right, and you never know why it goes like that.
On the other hand, the movie End of Evangelion is not like that, it puts the story of the world first and the mind next, bringing an ending more like what people rather see. My opinion simply resumes to this.
I would say the ending of the series was boring and I'd rather watch the movie.
(I didn't read the bible either, but I don't think it has much to do with it)
But did you like it until that part?

There are a lot of people who love Evangelion, and can't find anything better. I would say "I pity you" with some joke mood, but of course it's always a personnal thing so I don't really dare...

Heey got a Question.
Does any of you know if eps 292 of One Piece is Subbed??

I have searched the whole internet and didn't find it so
if somone hase it feel free to PM me
Just a piece of advice so this thread doesn't get closed, don't ask for subs of licensed series over Ngemu. Ngemu has strict no piracy, no copyright violation policies so you might want to save yourself some trouble by not asking those questions

@Sephi: Have you had the chance to watch Aria? I've just watched episode 21 of the second season and I can confidently say it's one of the best anime episodes I've ever seen, so I'm kinda curious to hear your impressions so far.

I haven't started yet. There are so many Anime on the list i wanna watch atm. I'm just done with Inukami (well missing last eps). Can't wait till last episode gets released. And about that character driven show. Inukami is one of those. And damn the anime is so charming in a unique way. Though that could just be Youko

And i just started with Mai-Hime. And i'm really enjoying it so far. It makes me think of FMP. It has a very nice mix of Action and Comedy, something i really liked about FMP. And after Mai-Hime i will probably pick Mai-Otome and the OVA after.

And that there is The Twelve Kingdom. I checked how the anime look, wasn't very appealing tbh. It looks like one of those American cartoons. Not that there is something wrong with it. Just a bit different than what i expected. But i will finish it someday. As i shall not judge the book by its cover!!!

Think il watch Aria the Animation before Twelve Kingdom. Noticed that it's only 13 Episodes. Il definitely keep you updated about what i think of it. I always prefer short animes over the real epic long once like bleach/naruto.
I even stopped watching Bleach. havent watched that for about 6 weeks.

I'll just make a suggestion. Lower your expectations to your absolute lower limit for the last episode. Really

Apart from Inukami, I'm kinda curious of your impressions of the rest of the series you mentioned, so give us some input on your impressions and thoughts later on

Hmm, so you didn't like the 2nd season as you did like the 1st and 3rd of FMP, right?
This is a real diversion, there are people that are like that, and the opposite (like me) who liked the 2nd season more.

But can you tell more about Mai-Hime?

ugh.. silly me using "Liked" I mean just "like" FMP and Fumoffu+ FMP TSR are one of my favorite anime. Fumoffu is actually the first anime i watched at a friend place. The first episode really cracked me up. Than i watched FMP and than TSR.
The action and the comedy with mr obvious Souske is just so hilarious, i really wish there would be a 3th season as the manga of it is continuing on. And there are so many questions unanswered. Like Tessa brother and who is the girl at start of FMP that got attacked by a helicopter. Never saw anything from her either.

And Mai-Hime also has a nice mix of action and humor. That's why i said it reminded me of FMP. I only watched up to episode 9 of it so far. So can't tell to much about it. But i'm definitely enjoying it.

Il just quote the info about it
Quote:
The Fuuka Academy is a unified school (having students from primary school and high school). In the Fuuka Academy, a rumor that a mysterious monster appeared has spread, and that the only match for the monsters were girls called “HiME.” They have the abilities of HiME (Highly-advanced Materializing Equipment).

Mai transferred to the academy, not knowing anything of this rumor. However, she suddenly discovers she has the power of a HiME. After facing a few problems, she adapts to her new life as a HiME.
And il definitely post what i think about Aria and the twelve kingdom. Perhaps il start on Aria a bit sooner. Just to check if i should get the second season.

And proto do you mean Mai-Otome or Mai-Hime last episode? I don't mind if Mai-Hime as a crappy ending. As long as they continue in Mai-Otome and bring a good ending there il be satisfied. And meh. Il be prepared for whatever that's gone come, for now il enjoy it :P

PS: i never liked the ending of FMA. Even after the movie i felt unsatisfied. Poor Winry ^.^

It's Mai-Hime's ending that you should be wary of. To set an example, it was such a bad ending that it is now on the otaku lingo. A Mai-Hime like ending refers to an ending that is so bad that you move the series from "best series I've seen recently" to "series I wish I forgot". Compared to it even FMA's seems like the work of a genius. That kind of ending Mai-Otome is set is a pseudo-alternate universe from Mai-Hime. Although it shares many of the characters, and there is some vague connection in the story the plot it tells is different, apparently set in a vast, vast future.

I liked the ending of FMA, but I didn't watch the movie yet. I guess it was one of the greatest series so far.
Well, I'd rather see that ending than Fate/Stay Night's or Evangelion's or even Elfen Lied's ending.
You know... it's kind of what you expect it to be like, in a logical/fate way. Maybe it's just me, but it's not that I always like to see what I expect, it's just that if the whole series just carry on to something, why changing it quickly in the ending? xD Maybe I'm wrong, but that's just my way.

The problem with FMA's ending is that the plot startening weakening at the end (WTF is up with Archernator), to the point that, while the ending was decent, it is weak when compared with the rest of the series.

Me bashing My-Hime doesn't mean I didn't like the rest of the series though, in fact I found it to be quite enjoyable.

Ok, I can agree with that, that makes sense if you watch it.

I guess you persuaded me to watch Mai-Hime xD
It'll be on my list soon

I know this is the Anime thread, but I preffer the Mai-Hime manga over the Anime. The animation, sound, music and voice acting were excellent, but it would've been more interesting with the manga plot. Don't want to spoil it, but it's quite different. Not in terms of characters, just the plot .

Mai-Otome is the sequel to Mai-Hime. Same characters, but different world and settings. I like how they kept all the old characters (mostly) and introduced the new ones. And it's filled with as much drama as it's first counterpart, great music too of course .

Hmm... dunno... the manga's plot seems more like a sad excuse for fanservice. In the sense that many times the characters took decisions that didn't conform to the personalities, and many things where forced for the sake of advancing the plot. Despite the anime's ending I still have to give my thumbs up to the series...

That's no prob, this is also opened to manga opinions, since basically there is a manga/game for most animes, so you can share your preferences in which you'd rather and why xD

woohoo!! KyoAni (from SuzuHaru, Air and Kanon fame) will be animating Key's (from Air and Kanon fame) CLANNAD, aclaimed as Key's best game up to date.

Well for the ones that care. I guess we still have to wait for Lucky Star and SuzuHaru's 2nd season to get done though...

for the one's following Kanon 2006 today or tomorrow the last ep will be out. Let's see if KyoAni can outdo what they accomplished with SuzuHaru
