I like Rozen Maiden's music and plot and for some reason I think the "Loli factor" in it is going to be a factor that attract people who like Hentai to it. Generallt Production I.G. makes Anime I like and right now I am looking forward to Reideen |

![]() As for the series I'm looking forward to would be Nanoha's 3rd season, Haruhi's 2nd season, Saiunkoku Monogatari second season's and some others I must be forgetting ![]() As for the ones who consider Rozen Maiden the best thing since sliced bread, the only reason I can find for that is that you have not watched neither of Mushishi/Haibane Renmei/Figure 17

I've watched them all and they're all good. Haibane Renmei I helped fansub when it first came out actually (Well, for my former fansub group, Animeparadize+UnitedAnime ). Man I miss those days, we were just getting started on Jungle Guu when most of our crew called it quits...then me and a couple got addicted to FFXI .I'm in the midst of watching Eureka Seven at the moment, just finished ep2. Initial view of it isn't so bad, but I'm sure it'll pick up . No spoilers please .

Yeah, it's already airing on TV. But of course, I hate English dubs (well, 99% of the time) and they cut out an absurd amount on TV versions. Seriously, they just butcher them. And I'm pretty sure they'll cut lots of stuff out on the TV version, I heard from friends it gets pretty graphical through the series. I'll stick with subtitles and uncut versions TYVM .

I'm waiting for second season from the following. Shakugan no shana, Zero no Tsukaima, and Nanoha. And if they ever decided to make a 3th Season for FMP. I heard the manga still continues... Almost forgot Rozen maiden to :P Awaits a 3th season from that to. Though not wanting it as much as Zero no Tsukaima or FMP. I would really recommend Zero no Tsukaima. It's a Fantasy/Romance/Comedy Worst thing about it is that it's only 13 episodes

Zero no Tsukaima was really great, at least the first few episodes. I found it got quite cliche and emo as the first season drew to a close. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but it just kind of spiraled downwards towards the end. Loved the voice cast in that one too, like how they used the cast from Shakugan no Shana .

Accordingly it was the animation studio fault since the novels are super-b. I've only read the first novel so far since my Japanese abilities aren't that good yet, so I'm quite slow at it , but I can assess the novel quality at least up to that point. There is an ongonig novel translation project at Baka Tsuki though |

@Cyclonmaster: Sorry, I haven't watched anything Ikkitousen related. I think my sister did though, so I'll ask her later. I have a vague memory of her claiming she wanted her invested hours back though ![]() As for Rozen Maiden, Have you watched Rozen Maiden Ouverture? They are 2 ova's, and is more of a prequel to Rozen Maiden. The story is set around Shinku's and Suigin Tou's first encounter edit: After a quick search it seems Dragon Destiny is more like Ikkitousen's sequel that will be coming out this year. In fact it seems the first chapter is out already. |

skoreanime you sure got good taste, I'd certainly say that for most of your choices ![]() But I kind of agree with tuanming, that's for sure, (not only gits, but the others as well, mainly Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), but we can't really judge people's tastes/styles. Anime is something that you have to enjoy for yourself, so opinions vary a lot from person to person. (Personally) I don't say an anime suck before trying it out, and I guess you should do the same (that's my advice). Well, Kirby, you sure love hentai and ecchi things a lot, huh? I didn't like Ikkitousen much because of the ecchi (pretending to be hentai) parts. Story was fine, but... I finished seeing Air some time ago too, it's a bit too unreal, but maybe it's worth seeing to those who like psichology's weird cases.

Yeah, I know it all comes down to personal prefference sooner or later. I had to tape my eyes open to watch through Witch Hunter Robin. It wasn't too bad exactly, just it didn't capture my attention really. My eyes kept wandering off the screen a lot . Same with Ruroni Kenshin and Inuyasha anime series. The first couple arcs were very well done, kept true the original story for the most part. Had great animations, great music and so on. Then they both got the further it went on.

I'm watching Inukami atm, i'm not to impressed yet, though it does get a bit more intresting. And Youko is so charming And proto, a friend of me also recommended me Kanon 2006 after i told him i'm watched air. I never watched Kanon before. So i hope Kanon 2006 will live up to my expectations. Melancholy of haruhi susumiya didn't. And i actually had to force myself to watch the filler like episodes. They should of made it a 6 episodes anime. It would be like Hanbun or Iriya no sora for me than. Atleast they were interesting even though they were just 6 episodes.

Heck in Aria there is an episode that consisted in the protagonist going to buy some things, finding that the day was way to hot, stopping at a cafe to cool herself down and chitchatting with the people there. End of the story. Yes, the story of the chapter is nothing short of overly simplistic, but the quirks of the character, the well-drawn scenarios, the misteriousness of the atmosphere and the characters she encounters among many things make up for a series that is excellent without being about anything. Character driven series. even if Aria would be a bunch of fillers pasted together from your POV. (and it is 36 episodes long, and it has its fanbase )Sorry I always feel obliged to defend my favorite genre. Last edited by Proto; March 7th, 2007 at 15:02.. |
