Who was it that told me to watch Darker Than Black 2 without watching the first one? I almost gave up on the series until episode 3 when things start to make sense. Of course, then I went on a weekend anime marathon and finished the first series. It was great except for the meh ending. Thank goodness for the second season then.

Other impressions:
Kampfer: Stupid. No, really.
Kobato: Still slow, but I like the pacing nonetheless.
Railgun: I still waiting for plot-kun to show up.
Nyankoi: Is this anime even about cats anymore?
Sasakoto: Yuri still srs bzns.
Nogizaka secret something 2: Getting more idiotic and fanservicier by the moment.
Kiddy Girl-and: Stupid, but guilty pleasure. I like how incredibly annoying the main character is (because she's supposed to be so).

Currently retro-watching: Macross Frontier. Just finished the 13 episodes, another 12 to go. Somehow not as gripping as the original, or as musically enjoyable as Macross 7. I hate how incredibly annoying Ranka is (because she's supposed to be this lovable kawaii gal but instead is a whiny emo).

I avoid most of your show DinJerr xD
Nyankoi was better on the manga, but Darker than Black 2 is definitely the best show this season (not counting Bakemonogatari) and yes you must watch the first season first to better understand the plot and most of characters.

My suggestion for this season :
Seitokai no Ichizon - Enjoyable dialogue, funny, lots of references
Book of Bantorra - Decent so far, good action
Asura Cryin' 2 - Better than the first, pacing is faster
Sacred Blacksmith - Yet to show any plot but nice colorful animation

I actually like Railgun, its like slice of life series... As the story in Index wasn't that great either so maybe they just decided to make it into a slice of life and not worry about the plot!

Nyankoi, well I was also wondering about the missing cats in the last episode but oh well...

Sasakoto was... Well, simple yuri... What can you expect?

Kobato seems interesting to me, seems like nice slice of life with some sort of stroy in the background... Kinda reminded me of Aria, the main character has about as positive look on life as Akari did!

And Darker Than Black 2 really does need the first series to back it up, although the first series was pretty cryptic itself. The new series is pretty awesome, I'm still laughing at Hei accidentally trying out that girls tits!

^Well seen ep 18 quite heart touching/emotive especially the last few scenes, i never would have expected this from clannad but it might surpass even gundam seed in my favorite anime's and become number 1.

PS: there's more to Sanae than meats the eye that's for sure :P, she really is a sly fox.

it redeemed itself, gotta say i think this is one of the best (if not the best) anime's i ever watched it builds all that tension and in the end it offers a happy ending which certainly enhances the pleasure of seeing a happy ending (though considering it said "the end" the main story probably ends here), well of to watch the other 3 to XD

Edit 3: finished it and loved it definitely best anime i ever seen (even though it doesn't get the award for best op/ed).

Clannad was the first anime that featured a recap ep (i mean 24) that i watched from start to finish without skipping once, as for ep 25 Kiou's ark was interesting but what turned out as a really big surprise was how dependable Sunohara turned out to be

Nice to see that you liked it, personally I aso find it to be one of the best series I've seen , especially the second season, so I share you sentiments towards it. Though I personally found the opening for the second season to be quite a fitting piece of music

Other than that, I have other series that I can recommend to you that are on the same line, but I think you should take a break from the genre and watch something lighter, lest you become saturated.

Haven't watched Ride Back, but between druaga or asura I prefer the latter... I guess I like the school life setting.

Finished Sharin no Kuni VN, man this is one of those I'd like to see animated, the protagonist is pretty cool not your usually loser harem guy and each character is memorable even the antagonist.

Since we now know Kobato is set in the Clamp multiverse, my wild assumption is that Kobato and the tsundere dude are the Sakura and Shaoran of that world. Not that I have much knowledge of the multiverse anyway, since I regard Tsubasa Chronicles as an abomination-that-must-not-be-watched.

If you would have seen the ova's (Tokyo Revelations and Shunraiki) i very much doubt you would say that, as for the series music alone its enough for it to not be an abomination :P.

Actually i seen S1 of druaga the very first episodes are a killer , S2 i only saw a few eps but atm it fails to compare to the first one witch had some killer moments.

Also finished warching tower of druaga sword of uruk kind of dissapointing when compared to S1 but at least the last few episodes where ok
