So much promise back then....absolutely none of which it has delivered on.... Naruto has already renounced his DemonFox powers.....so wake me up when Ichigo renounces his hollow side and becomes an angel/royal....cuz he better become something else cuz they spent so much time setting up that he was insanely amazing with energy never seen so far by any other character... and on that topic here's another plothole for ya.....a Menos started breaking through on earth and Ichigo defeated it with his insane energy...a task apparently even captains struggle with....yet once we enter Hueco Mundo the home of plotholes rather than demons just about any old Shinigami can take Menos out with little more than a thought.....Bleach has utterly and entirely ruined it's power structure cuz the awesomeness of fights got away from the creator and now he's just struggling to top what he has already done without getting ahead of himself again....Naruto on the other hand is doing a very good job of maintaing it's power structure whilst still offering up awesome fights.

Saw the first 65 episodes in 2 days straight. Never been so pumped and excited for a fight since Dragon Ball. But it losts its charm pretty quick =\

Haven't you ever heard of training?  They want you to assume that vice-captains/captains did enough training to fight the espada during the bounto arc.With the scarce amount of information given, it does feel inconsistent on how they got more powerful (ex. Ichigo wasn't able to sustain hollowification for more than a few seconds before going to Hueco Mundo....and then he fought grimjaw with his hollow powers for the entire fight) It looks like this arc will go all over the place, so maybe they'll stop with the fillers and tie up all the loose ends

Even with training, how the heck they got stronger than Hollow Ichigo. Still pretty retarded because the Mask becomes worthless if regular captains can achieve that amount of strength with just simple training. and then ichigo becomes a wuss again and goes into this emo state and requires lots of foreplay with Rukia. And then rukia gets owned and looses her powers for another 50 episodes :P

As the manga readers ended up compromising, just forget about the supposed fighting scale and enjoy the fighting. Still, if you want some kind of logic to fall back to, the captains have a lot of more training with their bankai than Ichigo does (the effects of which are known to us from the Byakuya vs Renji fight).

If ichigo can go from shikai to bankai in like 2 weeks what makes it difficult to believe that the captains can go from PIMP to PINK BLING BLING PIMP in a couple of months. If you noticed the vaizards that hang around shinji can hold off bankai hollow ichigo without even using there shikai. Also, byakuya is probably one of the weakest captains.

Well, about the bleach power balance... Think back when ichigo got his bankai, it was supposed to be so awesome with sonic speed but now I can't see much of a difference when he fights in shikai form and bankai form, WHERE THE F***K DID HIS AMAZING SPEED GO!!! He was supposed to be faster than the eye can see but suddenly everyone can keep up with it meaning its worthless! Then there is the hollow form, now even that sucks espada balls... But now comes out this true form of hollow form where he's apparently so damn strong again but wait a couple of official arcs and he can't take out a fly with it!  All that can happen next is that someone(like Aizen) drags ichigo with him to hell when he dies where he suddenly becomes somekind of hell knight and then he's suddenly gets back with his awesome powers!  ...And everyone is at his level again.------ Watched the first episodes of Princess Lover and Kanamemo... Can't say much from princess lover which seems like another harem anime with the exception of not having a total loser as protagonist. Kanamemo on the other hand seems... crazy. That's all I can say for now.

Radix I will be very surprised if Ichigo does not soon (within the next 200 episodes) renounce his hollow/evil side....that would make him only the second hero in existence to actually be entirely evil (first being Hellboy).... And the signs are there....even the good guys keep on remarking how dark and evil that power is....hell Orihime just about wants him to stop using it.... So whatever his next transformation is has to be the reverse of hollow or whatever....otherwise the creator just goes and ruins even more of what he set up...which would be par for the course cuz other than Ichigo getting stronger and the fact Rukia is still alive he has delivered on absolutely NONE of what he set up during the first 65 episodes.....

The best thing in bleach is as follows: Neliel tu Oderschvank normal form (i mean the sexy one), Orihime Inoue (though her whining can be irritating at times), Yoruichi Shihōin, Momo Hinamori (though she needs a shrink), Yachiru Kusajishi (she probably needs candy). And i would actually like to see ichigo getting even "darker" and more friendly with his hollow form actually, to many "pure" good guys out there.
