Hmm... I'm not sure what this guy's asking (horrible grammar), but the subject looks like it belongs in the PS2 forums, not the open discussion.

is the "browse" and "systemconfig" screen you see the actual ps2 screen? if it is that means that you messed up: to start playing the game you have to go on
file>run cd\dvd

not

run>execute..

at least that's what i understood from your question..
if you're doing it right it means that the game didn't even load.. try checking on the dvd config.

usually, on a real playstation 2, when you have a game in and you go on "browse" you'll see an icon for each memory card in the memory card slots, and an icon of a yellow cd indicating the game in the ps2..

if you push file>run cd\dvd and you get the same screen without the cd icon, that means there is a problem with your cd\dvd config.. if you're using a game cd, try making an image file on your hard drive and make pcsxe2 load the game from there..

FuN, 3 things:

-"open discussion" IS NOT THE PCSX2 SECTION.

- one thread for the same problem is enough.

- As you don't have a PS2, and as I already stated in the other thread, No help will be provided here because you illegaly use PCSX2. (hey burning_anima?)

hi rockfire!
can I ask you a question? is your cpu a dual 1.83, meaning it goes to 3.6ghz?
does ffx work on your comp? because I have a intel centrino core duo @ 1.8ghz (meaning a total of 3.6ghz), nvidia go geforce 7300 512mb, 1024mb ram ddr2, and the game still goes pretty slow and crashes on a video at the beginning...

thanx,
Burning_anima

sorry red lion, I'm a newbe and i answered without looking.. where can i get an answer to my question? (the one i posted before this message)

I don't think so, and dual core CPU GHz don't add into a total GHz rating I have an Athlon64 X2 Dual 4400+ but it doesn't mean it's 8800+.

It doesn't total at 3.6GHz and your computer overall seems a little underpowered for that.

I think ya said it wrong, an AMD Athlon X2 Dual 4400+ are 2 AMDs Athlons 2200+
Just a thought.

This is not the PCSX2 Forum. Closed. And keep it to one thread.
