emulation creation
Does anyone know what programs to use when creating an emulator? I know VB but I just want to make something small like NES, and then move on to bigger things. Any info would be appreciated.

Well I suggest learning how to use C first and get yourself a copy of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET I don't suggest starting with the NES as its mappers are fairly complicated. I suggest starting with Chip8, for everything you need check out emutalks Chip8 topic. (Which has multiple source codes you can look at, all the doc's you need on the system as well as friendly people who will help you with any problems you have.)

or my favorite C#.net!i can help you to create a Nes emulator with VB if you want but more than that....isn´t really possible. i mean don´t expect to emulate the N64 or PSX with VB ![]() anyway as emwearz already sayd a Chip8 emulator will be the best way to start.
