Last time I check Linkin Park wasn't metal either. I don't know who said they are, but I don't understand. I moved their CD's out of the metal section and put them into rap.
Back to Cid on the singing thing. I won't know till I hear. Oh yeah, and I've been listening to Masterplan's first CD, and it's really good. A few songs reminds me more of hard rock stuff, but Songs like Heros really make me think of stratovoius. Only one song I skip over, and don't quote me on it, I think it's number 10. |

Easy there Aided, we've had that debate at least twice already in this thread
![]() Too bad you had to miss out on Dio and In Flames Bositman, personally I would've gone for Dio, he's a guy I would still love to see live one day. It wouldn't have surprised me if Manowar had announced him to perform on Magic Circle Festival, but unfortunately the lineup is definitive now. As for Heroes, Aided, the reason why it may remind you of it is because of the chorus, which is where you don't hear Lande's voice, but Michael Kiske's. Number 10 is Bleeding Eyes, it's also my least favourite song, I skip it as well Crystal Night is also one of my favourites, especially for the lyrics, which are really good. Glad you like the CD anyway, to me it's one of the powermetal classics. Anyway man, maybe you'll like the videos on the previous page as well, you may have missed them if you hit the "last page" button

Yeah, I know we had the debate, but I can't really say sorry for what I believe, so I'll just keep silent unless someone talks to me about it, or something off the wall happens.
I would like to see Dio more, also stated in thread why. Although, even thought I still feel they are bad, (nu)In flames is starting to suck a little less. Oh, I didn't know that, but also just the way the guitars are, reminds me of eagle heart. I just checked, yeah it is bleeding eyes that I don't like. just sounds not good, I'll just call it a filler song. I want to point out that I love how Lande has some of the most positive lyrics I've ever heard. It's good to hear stuff like that when you are doing something in your life. |

Went to see Parkway Drive and Suicide Silence. Had a good time except because I bought my hoody and t-shirt straight away I had to wear em even though I already had a hoody and t-shirt on. So you know, VERY HOT.

I already did my rant on things with "NU" in front of it, metal, rock, whatever. The only thing NU I like are the things from chrono trigger. I'm not going to agruee is again, Cid has a point, it's not worth it to go all over it again. Call me wrong, say I at least have a point, or I'm 100% right, whatever. If you really want to talk about it, IM me, I think my Screen name is in my profile. I think that's fair to everyone.

Just found my old Trivium album (The Crusade). Forgot how awesome they are. The last track on the album is amazing... Best jam ever.

Offspring was one of my first bands with guitars involved I liked, along with Bon Jovi, though the latter has more roots in metal than The Offspring. Still I consider Americana to be a great album, don't know about their new stuff though.
Good gig you're going to Chrono! Hammerfall, Maiden and Symphony X and plenty more great bands. |
