myspace is very bad, you have to make sure it has no personal information or a real picture of yourself. An old friend i knew in elementary school's house got broken into because of his myspace. The dude hasn't even been caught yet either so beware.

myspace and blogging are two different things imo.

myspace is more of a networking type thing where you make "friends" while blogging is more of "read about my thoughts" type deal...

I know myspace has a blog but who really reads them? All anyone ever does on those things is be a stalker while looking at pics of people.

OH S@!T I posted a Profile and picture of myself a while back on myspace, although I don't think my profile had personal info, like where I live, or my name etc.....

However with my picture I'm Probably getting ripped on big time

I liked MySpace a lot better back when it was a free file hosting server. That was one of the first places I was able to find anime to download on the internet. Granted they were only crap quality RealPlayer encodes, as DivX hadn't been invented at the time, but they were still watchable.

I don't look at anyone's Myspace and I've never made my own or considered it. My website's news section is a semi-blog, though I don't post a lot of stuff on it unless its related to any content I'm hosting.

You're more likely to get drive-by-spam rather than comments from random intarweb strangers. Which is why we took our band's page down.

overall lack of regulation. Teens can post whatever they want, whenever they want, from anywhere.

I think a lot of kids use it as an email that their parents can't read. the myspace email function gets a lot of usage among my friends.
