I wasn't sure if you meant soccer or American football.
You guys were in Italia 90', right?
I am Irish. Our World Cup hopes have been destroyed, not that we'd win or anything.

Too bad we didn't join world cup . Ironically the team who got us out of world cup (Cote d'evoir) is the same team we defeated in the final match of the cup ^_^

@killivippin : Yes we were in Italy '90. And we had a draw game with the irish team.

I love football... unfortunatly the quality of African football is still very low you have to learn to work togheter... and you need better players.... It's still a mystery to me how Senegal could kick out Sweden of the world cup! It must have been one of the worst games Sweden ever played.

OO, I guess my heart is still Swedish maybe I should be cheering for Belgium in sports now instead... well, that's not going to happen anytime soon.

.
Senegal was actually a good team during the world cup, and so was Turkey, if you look at them now, you wonder why they are not in the world cup again...

Senegal was good, congrats!! Egypt deserve it! and yeah the African Cup is a nice one. I think Africa has awesome players, but about collective gameplay they have to improve(engrish).

I love football (soccer) anyways, glad the players can return to their respective clubs lol(Barcenola kinda miss Eto').

Sincerely Shin Mike.

Congratulations to Egypt. Shame about Mido though, but I guess that's a lesson not to mess with your boss.

With Ivory Coast's performance it looks like Group C of the World Cup this year looks even better (Argentina, Ivory Coast, Serbia and Montenegro, Netherlands).

Being Scottish I'm used my team not qualifying, so this year my support's going to the Netherlands. Maybe they can do it this year.

Did Cameroon get through?
Some of my best World Cup memories involve Cameroon games.
No kidding.

To answer your question (to save you from all the hassle of either searching for it yourself or clicking that above link) no.

Cameroon were taken out by the same Cote D'Ivoire lol ..Drogba's boys were sooo lucky ..
Cameroon had a penalty in the last minute of the decisive game and they missed so bye bye world cup ,it's people of Cote D'Ivore dancing on the streets.
I'm from Romania and i kinda got used to not qualifying now.I remember those days when we beat teams like Argentina or England ..hehe what a celebration it was after those games..

You're telling me, lol. Last time Scotland qualified for anything was France '98. We nearly held Brazil to the draw. I still remember celebrating John Collins penalty. As a side note: I went to the same high school as John Collins, and his mother was one of the dinner ladies. Needless to say, the place was jumping after he scored.

Romania in Euro 2000 were awesome. You beat the Sassenachs, enough said.
