Alone in the Dark - Anyone Watched It?

Don't watch it, if you haven't

Seriously, this movie is COMPLETELY ridiculous. Christian Slater acting is probably the best thing on it...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0369226/

The CG effects are crap, the characters are crap, the story is utter crap, the soundtrack is crap... It really sucks big time.

A friend of mine told me about it, and since I always liked this game (although I can't stand the badly outdated graphics of the originals anymore), I decided to give it a shot.

It's even worse than House of the Dead (which is directed by the same guy, BTW). If you've watched HotD, then you'll know what I mean.

Anyway, anyone else here has watched it?

RE and RE:Apocalypse were actually pretty good. There were a few scenes in RE:A that could have used some work.

Now House of the Dead just sucked. I'm even ashamed to admit I actually watched it. I don't know if it was the alcohol or the actual movie but I got sick half way thru it. I tried watching it again the following morning and stopped it 30 minutes into it. One of the few movies I'm happy I didn't buy.

Thanks for the heads up Boltzmann, I was going to buy it.

I wouldn't call them "good", but unlike most videogame movies those two were watchable.

I tried to watch it too. I fell asleep at about 75% of the movie

Glad to be of help. Watching it is bad enough; paying for it is a beyond horrible.

I see you're a Boll fan

If you don't like the guy already, try reading this . It'll make you want to go to Hollywood and kill him in person

i loved the mortal combat movie. second one sucked. after that i saw resident evil. Nice, but could've been better. That's it.

i forgot, i also saw streetfighter. I guess that says enough why i forgot it

OT: wasn't planning on seeing it anyway, now i'll completely forget about the movie... what movie?

I liked Mortal Kombat too.

Street Fighter was just... awful.

RE wasn't that bad IMO. RE2 was much worse than the first.
