If I recall correctly Microsoft are putting arooung £600 Million just in advertising alone.

The significant fact is this is the same amount of money that they got from the US MOD to use win 2k on battle ships. Ummmmm

Doesn't matter how much money you put into advertising if the system doesn't have any good games.

Well I just got back from a testing session for the x-box and the game I played was Fairly fun and the graphics were very nice and very smooth. I think it has a good chance personally.

A system without RPGs stands no chance in Japan, the only country that matters. Look at the N64 pre-Ocarina of Time. Really quite sad...

I believe thats why a zelda game is scheduled for a release on the new game cube or is that just a rumor but there also wasnt a metroid game for the n64

At the time of those rumors, they were thought to be going for those prices. However, reality and the almighty dollar stepped in.

This recent trend of bumping up ridiculously old threads (and I mean way old, almost a year) is bugging me. And in this case, there are NEWER threads with the exact same thing.
