But to be honest, I wouldn't be suprised if something like this actually happens in 'real life'....hell, it probably happens around me all the time and I have no idea about it....that is really creepy/scary.

If you just look at the entire site, you can see they're full of it. There are also less pleasant stories to be found, and certainly several a lot less humourous.

Theologists trying to be funny?

They know a lot about religions, mostly lose any faith during their studies, and are often as dull as can be. ;P

Oh yeah, because religion is the untouchable subject. No one can make fun of it, or else they're heretics. Political jokes are okay but not religious jokes.
