Boy sues mother for not buying him a PC

Quote:
AN ELEVEN year old boy in central China has taken his mum to court for breaking a promise to buy him a PC if he did well at school.

According to the China Daily, the mother told her son that if he ate all his greens and scored average marks of more than 94 per cent for his school work, she would buy him a computer.

However, when the kid did so well that he managed to get this grade, she told him that she couldn't afford it.

Unfortunately, the boy, from Xingzheng, Henan province, had also been helping his parents run their business and knew a thing or two about hiring briefs when people welch on deals.

So he went to court asking a judge to make his mother honour the verbal agreement.

However, it all had a happy ending apparently the judge reconciled the mother and son, although we don't know if he ever got his computer or not. What a heart warming yarn it all is. If true.
Kids these days. Go figure.

I think it's better that he took her mother to the court, than if he threatened her with knife or a gun

anyway congrats to that kid for his determination and courage

There's a lesson we should all learn from this... spank your kids before they turn against you!

Oh please..like wasn't there a news story some time ago about Europians chasing a pig. Popuri just posted about some twenty year Korean who played computer games for 86 hours and then was found dead.

More odd stories:
Saddam's home movies on sale in Baghdad

Heres a funny one http://www.thespeciousreport.com/200...22urinate.html

For Japanese concerned about erections http://www.thespeciousreport.com/03031217keiko.html

LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- A Canadian man, angry that he was refused a plane ticket to Australia at Los Angeles International Airport, stripped naked, sprinted across the tarmac and climbed into the wheel well of a moving jumbo jet, officials said on Wednesday.

It's not about crazy and stupid people or the anti-American sentiment... it's that people in US sue a lot (sometimes over weird things like fastfood making you fat), compared to many other countries.

And if we were talking about any other country people would praise the attitude saying stuff like "aha! they stand for their rights!"

What a brat. His mother provides him a place to live and food in his mouth, he should be a helluva lot more appreciative. I agree that his mother shouldn't make promises she can't keep but this is going way too far.
