I love political threads / religion bashing / country bashing... shows me who people really are. Probably why I stuck around, even though as I've said before I disagree with 99.99% of the people here 100% of the time. I can't say I particularly hate any kind of thread.

I don't like political threads because 99% of the time they derail into country bashing threads ("US are bastards", "muslims are terrorists" ). And there're few posters who do any good on these threads (netghost 2.0 being a notable exception).

I like religion threads, though I don't like the way they turn into an us vs. them kind of thread (and where atheists are always accused of flaming, because religious people are easily offended). So currently I hate them, because nothing useful comes out of it.

The threads that I like the most are the scientific/technical ones. I can always learn a thing or two when debating something (either from someone else on the thread or as a result of the research that I usually do before saying something I'm not sure about). And it's always good to see other people's POVs on the ethical issues.

I wub religion, human behaviour, and psychology threads.
I dislike political, or country bashing threads.
I like gaming threads that involve UT, or any other game I loved.
I also like threads about ethics, and those that ask personal tastes/opinions. Like this one!

I'm a bit so/so on Boltzmann's scientific threads. depends on what they're about. Advancements in technology doesn't interest me as much as advancements in the biological field.

I've always avoided the love thread, since love is no part of my life, sadly.
I pretty much avoid every hardware and programming thread, that's where my real life is for, not my gaming and discussing alter-ego.

I prefer the personal ones, like the love thread (I think over a quarter of my posts are in there ) I'm curious how ppl will act in certain situations, and compare it to my ways, also it can prove helpful by just reading other opinions.

I also like rom/bios request threads. This shows the pure stupidity of a member It just cheers me up and boosts my ego seeing someone way dumber than I am

Most of the time I avoid politics, but when I have time left, I'll check them as well.

I like any thread that can lead to a meaningful debate ... or that can lead you to think about one thing or two you havent considered.... btw a little off topic but i found another of my old national math olympics training book.... if enough people here love threads that make you think i will consider gonig through the trouble of translating the problems and scanning the ones that require geometry

I'm, kinda neutral about the rest

But I hate... hate ... HATE the threads that involve human feelings (that includes personal threads )

Never heard of "They don't give a damn about my concerns, there's only one thing left to do" ?

Likes:
Video Game threads (geez... wrong forum? ), console war threads (ditto of my previous thought? ), any thread where I can argue with a purpose, ROM/BIOS threads (always so fun to read engrish), screenshot threads, etc.

Dislikes:
Mmm... "I'm a complete stranger; I'm leaving. Byyyeee!", "I miss the maggots/batards... sob, sob!" and "I'm popular; he messed up with me.... BOOHOO!!" threads. (though we don't see them anymore)

I hate threads where people ask questions easily solved with a google search. I also hate "Hello" threads. You know, the ones where new people actually expect us to care if they've just joined. I just think its utterly pointless.
