I think an optimists club would have activities, but pessimists are too pessimistic to start them

I was one of the founders of the club, but I'm slowly trying to leave it
Seriously, too much pessimism almost ****ed up my personal life...

What? I didn't notice before. You left us? Well, nothing to be surprised of, it's always the best people who leaves... Hope it wasn't anything too serious, pal

Nope, it was actually something good

I didn't leave the club, through... (not yet )

Anyway, if you are too pessimist you risk losing many opportunities. There's one girl that got a crush on me, and gave many hints. But my pessimism always forced me to interpret them in a twisted way ("oh, she's just my friend - friends always act like this"... "she's pitying me" and things like that). When she found out my extreme pessimism she came forth and expressed her feelings, and she made me take a second look at this whole extreme pessimism thing...

Yeah, me and Killjoy founded it mostly because of girls as well

Anyway, I'm not a playboy I'm still insecure around girls, and I'm still trying to improve my self-esteem

But at least now I know that there are women in this world (or in my country ) that enjoy scientific debates. What attracted her to me (and myself to her) was our long conversations about neuroscience (specially on the subject of neural plasticity, memory formation and cognitive psychology)

I hope you can find someone as well

Hello.. We are DW and we will be your activities director during your stay at the Optimist Club.

One of the activities we are working today is waking up in the morning (no easy task), look at yourself in the mirror (Flexing optional), and asking yourself "Who will be the lucky individual that will be affected by my presence today?" Give yourself a wink, a few pumps to inflate your ego, and make an impact at school / work

Greetings... I'm The Great Kaiser Sigma and I lead the followings "Guilds":

* Playboy Club
- Requirements to Join: no gf (though we could negotiate on that one), you have to be a pimp and an extremely superficial person.
- Daily activities: hummm... hitting on the opposite sex ?
- Current Members: Kaiser Sigma (founder), Yeloazndevil (you are still a member?)(co-founder), Quatro (CEO last time I checked).

* Elite
- Requirements to Join: your name must be Kaiser Sigma, you must be Kaiser Sigma. All other aspirants will be immediately dismissed (yes, it's a highly selective group )
- Daily activities: being arrogant, being a badass, praising the value of your own self on a daily basis, increasing the level of your ego on a regular basis... amongst other activities.
- Current Members: Kaiser Sigma (founder, Nº1 member of "The Elite", biggest badass {or just an ass according to some people } in town, arrogant one... the list goes on).

I think the pessimists club can be considered as a Realist club as they look for life so realisticly (they don't wait for imaginary events like : that girl would like my big nose )
Hey , no offence (if any one of you have a big nose , accept my apologies )

Well, ppl should count more on their skills rather than to think that something won't workout well anyway. So I do, and I'm fine with that. Also I'm always the one who says "its gonna be alright, calm down". Mostly I'm right, life goes on you know.

That's why I founded the independent pessimistic club. We dont pity ourselves for being a fiasco in social relationships, we pity/hate the vast majority of humanity for not being as superior as us. As such, we totally give on humanity and become misantrophists, striving for the eventual extintion of the inferior homo sapiens sapiens and fighting for the creation of a new, better race.

Suscriptions are open

heh, Proto.

I'd almost say I want in, but then there's my general club-resisting / lone wolf mindset, that backfires on the plan of joining anything I do not know enough about.
