You'd probably only be able to pick one up from someone, and I'd bet they'd want a lot to part with it :/

i think the company almost went bankrupt since the car was expensive as hell to manufacture. its body was like 100% stainless steel

Actually, they lost a good deal of face after the company's president was supposedly found to be something of a coke fiend. Though it's quite the conspiracy theroy, it's the belief of many that the accusation was put forth by the large automobile companies in order to ensure they'd have a future. Just imagine, a stainless steel car is likely to be nigh indestructible (within reason, of course); quite a change from the planned obsolescence inherent to the design of most cars.

It actually isn't all that new a theme, however, as the (in)famous Tucker cars were testament to.

I actually live about 30 miles from the old delorean factory. There's a transport musuem nearby which was a few. Also there are a lot show up at old car rallies that I have been to.

Did you know that there are two "special edition" deloreans. these were made not of stainless steel but pure GOLD! I know that one of them is in fort knox. The other I'm not sure. Now that's my idea of a Dream car

Hmm, I thought Shrek looked kiddyish on the previews. I'm always a bit worried about comedies with trailers that aren't funny...And off-topic, but I also watched some movies yesterday, Mummy Returns and Titan A.E. The former was surprisingly good and the latter sucked as much as I anticipated it would. Crocodile Dundee 3 might be pretty decent, too...For that matter, lots of good movies coming up right now. I think there are more interesting movies in this Summer alone than all of 2000 combined

you gotta remember that the movie is rated pg but, there were some scenes that contained more of a mature humor

but then again you looking at a guy who watches the power puff girls and dexter's lab and went to go see the iron giant in the theatres and so on

yeah i like action films but i also like comedies and such

(i am also going to see atlantis when it comes out that just looks amazing)

Sorry to revive this old thread but I just watched Braveheart for the second time tonight(first time I didn't really watch,I was kind of drunk).
Anyway,what a fantastic movie! I just cried watching it,yes I cried (and it's been a looooooonnnnnng time since I last did,something like 2 or 3 years).
To everyone who didn't see it yet:Go,get it,buy it,rent it,steal it,anything you want but watch it! You WILL like it.

"You may take our lives but you cannot take our freedom!!!"

Agreed good film. Much better than the patriot (Which was the same bloody [pun intendend] film only set in the US. BAD BAD BAD!)

OOOOPPPSS! I was going to say GOOOD Film but then changed it to the quote. I've got to proof read a bit more. (If you don't get what I mean see sandies post below)

Umm yeah but it's YOU may take not good. I have watched it many times :P Did you all know it's a true stry?? Kinda killed the end for me but was good none the less. The Patriot was also a semi true story and it was not really anything like Braveheart other then they were both revolutionary kind of war stories. I liked the Patriot more then Braveheart actually. Must have been the addition of Heath Ledger

Amended. I knew that. It is part of the history syllabus over here. But I still think Patroit is TOO similair to braveheart... the synopsis

Braveheart.

The country (scotland) is at war with the bad guys ( the English). The hero (Mel Gibson) doesn't what to have anything to do with it until he loses a loved one (his wife) to the hands of the bad guys (the english). He then proceeds to raise an army of ruffians and annoy the bad guys (the english)

Patriot

The country (America) is at war with the bad guys ( the English). The hero (Mel Gibson) doesn't what to have anything to do with it until he loses a loved one (his son) to the hands of the bad guys (the english). He then proceeds to raise an army of ruffians and annoy the bad guys (the english)

For all you Kung Fu fans out there(especially CTHD fans) I recently heard about the new Yuen Woo Ping(fight choreographer) movie. Its directed by Tsui Hark. Its called the Legend of Zu and is a remake of Tsui Hark's first movie Zu: Warriors from the Magic Mountain. I don't think it has any big names actors in it, but that doesn't matter as long as Yuen Woo Ping is in charge of making them into badasses. I can't wait for it. If you want a list of some other Y.W. Ping movies then look for a long post by me near the bottom on the 2nd page of this thread.
