Scrapped Princess is one of the best anime ever!!

I just got done watching all the episodes of Scrapped Princess, and quite frankly I'd have to say it beats everything short of Naruto and One Piece. For a single season anime (26 episodes or less) it definitly ranks way, way, way, way, up there on the list of great anime IMO If you haven't seen it, now's the time to do so. It's still unlicensed so go get it at animesuki while you can I know LK enjoyed this anime alot, so I'm quite confident that any anime fan should love this.

On a side note, Happy Easter

it COULD have been one of the best...
but it seems they ran out of money, which would explain the PATHETIC end of this series. on the disapointment scale from 1 to 10 this one gets a straight 10. too bad.

I agree.... up to chapter 22 everything was going up smoothly.... maybe by then they realized that they had only 2 chapters left to end the series.... so they went under massive shortage (cmon Shizu has thousands of potential in the ending.... bleh)

I don't know of anime that doesn't have a down side.... There could have been thousands of different endings, but at least we didn't see some non sensical "evangelion" ending. So.....while we're talking, when is Bobbi going to add an anime section to these forums?

Yes I read the thread, it's understandable, I can see it now.....once Naruto gets licensed,

noob: Where can I download Naruto eps?

So I guess I'll just use the General Forums for anime discussion :xomunch: <never saw that smilie>

Change of subject; What does everyone think of the newest Naruto intro? I like all 4 of them however I think my favorite is the second one.

Hmm... I always skipped the intros... will go watch them now

They are all pretty good, but the 3rd one stands out because of its theme

...Evanglion, I just watched that anime recently and toward the end, it has brought me much pain and suffering. I actually felt like throwing the monitor out in response one particular part of Shiji's whines and not doing anything. Then I watched the three OVAs, hoping they would clear things up but that definitely didn't happen. I heard there's some sort of anaylsis online that explains the whole thing. If someone would kindly point me to that article. Thank you.
And yes, unfortunately, short funding killed many would-be-perfect animes, Evanglion is among one of them.

i think the current naruto opening is the weakest of them all, and of course, harmonia was the worst ending song. but i wouldn't rank the series as high as you do. to me, the first 19-21 episodes were golden, but its been fairly downhill from there minus anything involving the perverted hermit...

I don't like the 4th Opening that much and I prefered 'Alive' over the current ending. I think the current eps of Naruto are lacking some of the fun and excitement the first episodes had, but I think as soon as the current story ends the series will have some cool side stories.

I pretty much agree with everyone about SP, it was an enjoyable series, but the ending was dry.

the End of Evangelion was truly great. It ended eva in a manner that it deserved to end, greatly. The end of the series wasn't so much as confusing and unclear, but obnoxiously retarded. I think what happened was
SPOILER: Highlight text to view.
Shinji just kinda discovered why he's so f'ed up, and they implied some kind of eventual recovery, hence the sudden and dumb "CONGRATULATIONS!!!" ending.

The Death and Rebirth, and The End of Evangelion OVAs were all well funded however, and provided one of the most sastisfactory endings to a series to date, imo. And any page you see that "explains" it is its own opinion on what went down, because everybody has their own interpritation. There is no clear cut meaning of "this is what happened, the end". I remember John from animenation.net's Ask John (a true anime genuis, but not in the stupid "otaku" sense) posted his take on the end of evangelion, and i tend to agree with it. I can't seem to find it right now though, so i'll post it whenever i do.

Finally finish Scrapped Princess, and the ending really is disappointing How can First Class Divine Punishment Execution Form (what a long name ) be destroyed in 1 minute and Sim only lived an extra 20 seconds
And everyone looks happy...

Naruto's first openning is the best IMO, then comes closely the second op. Ending wise, I think this one is great, but I cant decide on which one of them is the best :P

Yours,

How Pacifica kept thinking everything happened "for" her got on my nerves
I was disappointed mainly because of how First Class Divine Punishment Execution Form got finished in 80 seconds (and Sim got head-shot) and the ending is too happy in a sense, at least let the prince die ... (Fulle is lonely)
Maybe these aren't good reasons. What's the fun if everything happens my way
