I can remember the words to the following:
"Waltzing Matilda" (the unofficial Australian national anthem, been popular since since 1895) And a number of Tom Lehrer's songs: "The Irish Ballad" "The Hunting Song" "My Home Town" "I Hold Your Hand In Mine" (Eeeewww..... I wasn't intending to memorise this one) "Poisoning Pigeons In The Park" "A Christmas Carol" "The Elements" (don't try to sing along with this one) There are a few others that I don't know all the words to, but I'd like to memorize them.

-------begin quote---- Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong, under the shade of a coolabah tree. And he sang as he watched and waited 'till his billy boiled, "Who'll come a waltzing matilda with me?" Waltzing Matilda, Matilda, my darling, Who'll come a walzing matilda with me? Waltzing matilda, and leading a waterbag, Who'll come a waltzing matilda with me? Down came a jumbuck to drink at the waterhole, Up jumped the swagman and grabbed him with glee. And he sang as he shoved that jumbuck in his tucker bag, "You'll come a waltzing matilda with me." Up came the squatter, mounted on his thourabred, Up came policemen one, two, and three. "Whose is the jumbuck you've got in your tucker bag?" "You'll come a waltzing matilda with me." But the swagman, he up and jumped into the waterhole, Drowning himself by the coolabah tree. And his ghost may be heard as it sings in the billabong, "Who'll come a waltzing matilda with me?" ------end quote--------- Does this help?

roxor: how the hell can you memorise 'The Elements song'. I know it's good an all, but it's harder than trying to learn a Jap song without the karoke lyrics.

Oh yeah. Oasis. "Champagne Supernova" was my favorite from them. I had the cd but my schitsophrenic aunt stole it. Dammit. Anyway, that song makes me wanna do drugs or something. It's such a profound song. I love it.

Uh, oops?
BTW, in your sig pic, letters don't reflect, and the balls don't reflect properly because you stretched them to be under the letters.

Um. A lot of church hymns, and quite a few Weird Al songs. Also "Staring at the Sun" by The Offspring and The Devil Went Down to Georgia.

My memory is pure crap, so i dont remember much. I've been listening to a LOT of symphonic non-lyrical music (mostly video game music), so i've been really short on the lyrics lately, forgetting most of the songs i once knew. If i get going again sometime, i'd recall over a hundred songs i bet i knew lyrics to. This includes most all good heavy metal songs i listened to, which is quite a few.
