Where Do You Download The Majority Of Your Files Online?

I wonder what the most popular method of retrieving files over the internet is. I am not trying to get into specific programs or whatever but the method we use overall. Please sumbit your vote as it might help us find new methods of retrieving whatever files we look for.

I have to say that I get the majority of my files probably on P2P but I find myself getting more and more files in Newsgroups.

I've been using Bittorent a lot lately. The more you share, the faster the download. This way, it prevents leechers.

Personally I don't like Bittorrent when compared to Emule, becuase I like having an interface and more control over download managing.

Bleh... that is why bittorrent it nice. Its nice interface and limited option force leechers to share to their max upload speed, so leechers get annoyed and everyone is happy

And anyway there are walkarounds like nova torrent...

techincally its... more like a miniserver on its own, with a p2p transferring system the people share the file but the servers manage all the sharing i suppose

Re: Where Do You Download The Majority Of Your Files Online?

I use Kazaa Lite, DC++ and BitTorrent when it's the only place i can find it.

Most of the big files that i download(those at 100mb +) I download from DC++

Re: Where Do You Download The Majority Of Your Files Online?

i either use KLite K++ (for songs, pr0n , random stuff) and eMule for most stuff (animes, >ahem< not quite legal stuff).

i love ed2k links, they are the best. i might get into bittorent, but i really dont have a need as kazaa and emule fulfill all my desires

Re: Where Do You Download The Majority Of Your Files Online?

Anime: Bittorent, Newsgroups, MIRC. As a really last resort, I use DC when I can't find like really old stuff but since I've seen most of the old stuff, I haven't used DC in a LONG TIME.

Music: If I can't find what I'm looking for in newsgropus and in MIRC, then I use Kazaa as a last resort.
