what google do you use?

i see everyone here linking to www.google.com , which i find rather odd. people here are from all around the world.

so what i want to know is, do you canadians use www.google.ca? do you germans use www.google.de? i know when i visit my family in canada, i still use google.com, thats the way it is.

this is a stupid thread i know but it's keeping me up thinking about it

I use the google toolbar... I suppose that uses the main www.google.com engine. Cause of the toolbar I never ever go to the actual google.com webpage anymore.

Well google.com redirects to google.ca (at least to me) so I don't think there's a difference between the two. I'm used to typing in google.ca though.

Google always tries to force me use google.fi but I always refuse and set it to use the english one instead ^_^; *likes it much more*

Well im always redirected to http://www.google.com.mx/

I use the main one if i dont care about the information's language.... and i search for spansish pages if im too lazy to translate at the time

Anyway, even before the toolbar I never used www.google.com.br - it sucks

The thing is that I rarely clear them, and anyways, I've put the local version in English mode just to be sure I won't read my fukin' native language on Google

Try using Google.ie 'as Gaelige' (in Irish), pretty pointless even for those used to Irish. For some reason not many people tend to use that particular language...

I Google allt e time. Googleing upon Googleing upon Googleing. I Google left and I Google right. Google is such a funny word. Google Google Google. Whenever I Google, I usually Google with the Google site. Otherwise, I sometimes Google with the Google toolbar.

hmm i find that interesting, when you non-US type google.com it redirects you to where you go. personally, i like google.ca because it has US/Canadian sites...

but i usually type in a word and press control enter (for example, type in ngemu and press control enter and it adds the www and .com for you...) so i just use google.com.

it seems there is a difference though, if you type in something it brings it to you in your own language AND in your own country....which is probably helpful to many people
