The "ideal" job

Check out the poll choices and vote as you want or post a reply if you want to explain your choice. I know there are plenty of other possible job scenarios, but I posted a few of the more popular (and likely) ones.

Re: The "ideal" job

The new forum software gave me an error message but apparently posted my new thread even though the poll wasn't posted properly. It is now.

Re: The "ideal" job

Yeah, it's working now.

Anyway, I chose "Job you love but the pay is poor.". The same goes for what you're studying: unless you do what you want you won't be happy. I choose to be happy. I choose to suffer in most cases.

Re: The "ideal" job

hmm. A combination of all three , ie a job that you like, which pays tons of $$$, and requires you to do nothing but sit around doing nowt. Kinda like a games/movie reviewer.

Welcome back Ryos

Hmmmm, when you mean "poor" it's very poor, or enough to live correctly?

Re: The "ideal" job

well I'll go first to the second choice... just to save enough money to buy the necessary things that I want... then after earning quite a sum,go for the job that I like doing...

I don't care how much I get paid as long as I have enough to live, and I enjoy what I'm doing.

Re: The "ideal" job

I liked Beta's answer. But I'll choose the second options. Once I have enough savings, I'll look for a job of my choice even if the pay is reltively less, ie the first option.

Honestly, I love the third one as well

My choice is the first...although if it is a necessity I would take the second. But the first is my choice.

Unlike Kane, I do care about how much I'm paid. Still, I'd rather do something I like for less, as long as I can make a living.

Re: The "ideal" job

If it were up to me, I'll go for the first one. I'm not much to maintain, and I don't want to depend on my parents forever as well.

But since I'll eventually have to provide for a family, I'll have to go with the second choice for practical reasons.

Re: The "ideal" job

while i'm living by myself, i'd choose the first. i don't spend much money, so i could probably make by with the less pay. however, if i was supporting a family, then i would probably go for the higher paying job. all depends on the circumstances of my current life situation. i wouldn't choose the bum option though . only way i'd take that one is if i couldn't get a job at all, and thats by default.

Re: The "ideal" job

good point, that could lead to some serious depression problems. the only way it'd work out is if you knew you were going to quite soon enough and wouldn't have to deal with it much longer.

Re: The "ideal" job

I like the second option because in this option i think that whether there is any type of job but all it need is hard work for success. Acctually all you or I have to do is for our own family, peace,& when ur family is living with peace then I think so there is no tension in life. Thats it know you all can decide about this talk.
