cooling my comp =)
im not sure if this would go here in open discussion or hardware...i just put it here cause it makes a bit more sense...
well im really bored now so i just thought id post this lol... my cpu was at 160 degrees (F) earlier today mainly because its humid and hot as hell arround here...and my friends with his chick or somethign but hell be over about ~1 and well do somethin...anyways...my comp got so hot so i decided to help it out first of all my room is always hot (im in it a lot =) cept the winter...the winter is like perfect for me...everyone else whines its cold... second my comp being so hot kinda freaks me out...i dont have a lot of money to run around spending.... third what i did was get 2 cookie trays and simply put some ice in them...now to protect my wood's desk (no varnish..i didnt want the look/protection) i put suran wrap around the floor around my computer in its lil cabinet... then i put a towerl on that to keep the plastic down and to soak up some water...i have a pan on TOP of my PC and as it drips hits a towel...and another pan in front of my computer (where theres vents) the thing my computer system needs here is a better cooling system...the ice dropped it from ~160 to currently ~118...major ass diff...the fans simply create a terrible cycle by pushing hot air from my power supply...it cools and drops...then my CPU fan sucks it back in...heats up to the power supply...and continues...this relaly blows and my room being so hot/humid ALL THE TIME sucks major balls.. i just thought its kinda funny havign a working cooling system using nothing but ice temp water... also...the top of the tower used to litterally burn your fingers...now it feels really nice...so you can tell physically =) P L E A S E do not whine and cry "what a retard post" im tired of nerds... |

think is this copmuter is used as a server for my computers' networked internet...my dial up+ICS on this comp..and while im not sitting here on it i normally download things...of course DUH? with modem you have to constantly dl anything if you want to get anything.....
thing is my parents dont want the A/C on...everyone else i know or hear of in rela life AND the internet has their A/C on...my parents are just REALLY PHUCKING PHUCKED THE PHUCK UP |
