New Card Captor Sakura Manga. (Tsubasa)

It appears that Clamp is making a new manga (and if previous mangas are anything to go by, it'll become an anime before long) starring some of the characters from Card Captor Sakura including Sakura herself, Syaoran, Touya, and Yukito. Judging from a pic I saw, Sakura will be around 15 years old in this

Princess Sakura is the heir to the throne of the Clow Country, and she fancies her childhood friend Syaoran, whose father was an archaeologist ad he himself devotes his life for excavation. The brother of Sakura and the King of Clow, Touya is not really happy about that. But Yukito, the hierarch of the country foresee that Syaoran is Sakura's "Destined one", and that Sakura possesses a power to change the world.

One day, a strange crest that is no of the Clow, was found inside the excavating relic. The bedrock that carries the crest is extremely hard, and no machines or power was able to break it through. But when Sakura felt the crest, the crest engraved on the rock breaks up and she disappears into it. When Syaoran followed her, what he saw was Sakura, being wrapped by streams of bright light and wearing a pair of wings.
Meanwhile, around the relics the air suddenly rips apart and another dimension appears. From there strangers appears and they broke into Clow, and start attacking Touya and others. And at the other end of the dimension, mysterious people watch the event, plotting something. Who are those people....?

After the attack Syaoran takes stone-cold Sakura to another world by Yukito, to a person who possess the same Moon power as him. Called "the Witch of the Dimension", she was...! And will Syaoran be able to save Sakura?

From the first chapter of the series, "Tsubasa" (meaning Wing(s)) has already linked with "XXXHOLIC", a series currently running on Young Magazine. Let us look forward to see its further development, and whether it will link with other worlds.

Seems interesting neh? I enjoyed watching CCS and Chobits, and I'm sure this won't dissapoint.

your not alone......It ws quite odvious that WB cut out Sakura from their lineup a couple of years ago. So I'm kinda behind on the story too. I also can't sem to find some VHS or DVD.....Damn walmart

Yeah that's the idea. I think it's gonna be a Clamp crossover series.

Since Li is the main character maybe Nelvana should have picked up this instead of Card Captor Sakura.

hmm i never got the change to watch CCS completly for some reasone they removed CCS from tv and put ALFRED JODOCS KWAK for CCS

really dumb dont those morans have any idea what is interesting to most ppl

even for small kiddos alfred sucks aars i didnt even like it when i was 8 or so and ofcorse stil doesnt like it

The US release of CCS stripped out a lot of the story anyway. They tried to make it more male orientated by jumpins straight to Li's appearance and they cut out the yaoi love interest IIRC.

I actualy like the U.S. Release of Card Captors. The only thing i didnt like was i believe it was the 2nd or 3rd season of the show. by the time Sakura's wand was transformed. And Her lines changed to "I call upon the power of my star" the whole star thing just confused me. I compleatley forgot what she used to say The first season, but that too me was the best one. after awhile it just got wierd.

First off they changed the name as they didn't want it girl orientated. It's actualy Card Captor Sakura.

Report from a friend is that this is far more a shonen manga than a shoujo manga. Sakura is much less indepedant in this and it all really centeres around Li. If it's done well, it'll be good, but them having drasticly changed the personalities of the 2 main characters.....
