the matrix: reloaded - hype it here

Anyone else read the TIME magazine article on the new movie (they got a private screening, lucky buggers) ?

It looks absolutely awesome. What do you think> will it live up to the hype or be a flop? TIME gave it a rave review (then again, Warner owns TIME) and also mentioned the upcoming game that is to be released for PS2, GCN, and XBOX. Apparently the story just gets more complicated, and the fights get kooler and faster... TIME essentially gives a writeup of the entire movie... I, for one, am going to buy tickets ahead of time

I could've bought that Times magazine today!! I opened it up and took a look at the first two pages of the review....but, I closed it. I don't wanna spoil it for myself. I'll read the review AFTER i've seen the movie.

I have a hunch that it's not gonna be banned.
Btw, when's the launch of the movie again?

That's why piracy can be useful(That statement does not in any way reflect on the views and opinion of the rest of NGemu)

I fail to see why the whole Matrix is complicated at all.
Follow me here and I will explain.
The machines main source of power is the Matrix (the people connected to it)
Morpheus has stated that if you are not one of us you are one of them and most of the people in the Matrix could not be freed anyway and if you die in the Matrix you die in real life.
As the Resistance can take in any weapons they choose through the Loading program, why not just take in a load of high yield nuclear weapons and kill everyone on the Matrix Earth, its not like the machines could stop them as Neo could just stop them.
There we are I have just saved humanity.

If you killed everyone in the Matrix Earth, you would kill everyone in the real earth.

No you wouldn't, the Matrix is just a computer simulation used so the mind will generate more power for the machines, killing everyone in the Matrix would just leave you with underpowered machines and a lot of dead people in those powerpods, the free human would still live.
I admit my way would not make a very exciting film but it would save humanity.

>Will it be banned?

Why would it be banned where you live? Violent content, or the fact that it's american?

>The story makes no sense

I agree, But I have a different example, the matrix is the only palce that the humand really have any power at all (kung-foo, gunz, leather, etc.), so if they destroy it the machines will have no trouble just ripping all of the humans to shreds with largish robots made to kill *real* people.

The movie's still gonna rock though

I think that the game looks pretty well though out also.

If a movie doesn't offend anyone, there's a 99% chance it's crap.

OT but I still can't accept the fact that they banned DareDevil in Malaysia for absolutely ABSURD reasons. And now they're gonna ban Matrix as well. What else? LoTR:RoTK being banned?
