Port Numbers for icq n msn

hey guys. I was wonderinf if anyone of your knew what the port number which icq uses when it sends files to another user?
Also for msn, anyone knows whats the port number when i sent files to another person?
or if no one knows..anyone knows a program that can show which ports are being used?

Need all of this info so that i can cfg my router to let me send files out..stupid wireless

how about using trillian messanger....
its all in one messanger (Yahoo, Msn, Icq, AoL)

I have it..but i dont know if it actually by-passes the firewall on my router. but do you know the port number that it uses to send files?

For the messenger file transfer, both incoming and outgoing TCP connections use this range of ports: 6891 to 6900.

If you look in ICQ's connection setup, it should tell you. You could also try RTFM and going to the online manual.

I assume so. However I don't have hte ICQ ports open on my firewall, and it doesn't seem to give a smeg.
