98SE, it still has problems, like BSODs, classic Error messages, explorer crashes, Iexplore crashes, rundll32 crashes, kernel32 crashes...

but still like this crappy OS

BTW, do someone know why my PC reboots instead of shutting down?

Greetings,

I'm use Win Xp Professional for more than two years, and I'll never get another OS (until MS releases the substitute of XP, that is). I used Wiin95 and Win98 for a long time. Win Me was crap and it didn't last two days on my PC. After that I bought WinXp and since then never needed changing.

Live long and prosper.

I'm currently on XP, after neutering it of all annoyances *cough* Windows Messenger *cough*, throwing Opera on as the default browser, and applying the UXtheme patch and giving it the Watercolor skin, it's the ideal enviroment for me. Enough eye candy to keep me happy so I'm not staring at 256-color icons, the stability of NT, and thanks to Watercolor, the incredibly polished interface... I love it.

My only major gripe about XP to this point is the fact that it holds your hand through the entire network file sharing process. I prefer to share all of my hard drives on the LAN after ensuring that my user accounts and external ports are locked down, but thanks to XP it refuses to share the Program Files and any user's Documents and Settings folder, effectively defeating the purpose of sharing the drive in the first place

Is the poll about what OS you have or is it what you have running.
I run ME, after using 98lite to take out the rubbish, it runs better than 98SE.
I have these OS however DOS 6.2, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 95 OSR2, Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP Pro, I also have a version of Knoppix around her somewhere.
I did have more but didn't think to back my harddrive up and had a case of little brother a few years back.
