Free PS2 Internet Adaptor

So, I was going to my local Bestbuy Last night and after a good look at my available funds I decided to shell out the 80 bucks for Everquest Online Adventures and the Sony Internet Adaptor. I got up to the counter and the cashier scanned my two items, they came out to 85ish dollars, but when she totaled the transaction the Dollar amount came to 45.64. So I then proceeded to Smile and keep my mouth shut as to not ruin a good thing. I looked on my reciept and It lists the Internet Adaptor as a free Purchase. Has anyone else gotten this for free??? Or is Sony having a promotion currently and I didnt know about it?? Well that my little story for the day, Hope it wasnt too boring.

it probably came as a bundle with everquest but be warned they'll take more in return once you start paying eq's monthly fee.

I used to play Online RPGs Way too much. Now its just more of a once in a while thing for me. My GF takes up most of my freetime now. Last semester in my English 102 class I did a research report on the guy in Milwaukee who "supposedly" killed himself over EQ. The truth behind the matter was that he was a SEVERE Manic Depressive whos only life was played out on EQ. When his EQ friends betrayed him, it was like having any of our real life best friends betray us. He took it kinda Harsh, Killed himself because he thought he had nothing to live for, not even in a virtual existance. Pretty sad actually.
