This is another great short with a lot of action compared to the first one.

It's nice how they had the trademark "Matrix action rotating freeze scene" in there.

Though I found that the voice actors were mumbling their lines which made it hard to hear what they are saying.

I didn't have any trouble understanding the lines. Maybe I just had my speakers turned up pretty high though.

I just watched both episodes for the first time and wow! they're good. Sure the second is more entertaining due to the action, but both have some excellent animation and good plots that fit perfectly in the Matrix universe.

the only strange thing was that the girl had same hair in the real world and in the matrix.

i thought that everyone in the real world were bald and that the hair was just a projection of the self in the matrix

They are bald when they are removed from their "containers," but they soon start to grow hair. Hey, Cyper had a goT and Trinity had some hair.

I think the first is hitting US theaters in early June(3rd?) and the other will come out toward the end of the summer some time?

Yeah they all start growing hair once they leave those incubation/power-sucker capsules.
Of coarse Morpheus always sported a bald head, but Neo started to grow hair immediately upon being "ejected".

Second Animatrix episode spoilers
I didn't understand:
SPOILER: Highlight text to view.
Duo(or was it Duel?) told her that he cut off the connection she had to the real world, meaning she couldn't call for the exit, but the operator was still changing the environment as if he knew what was going on in the simulation. Of coarse he did know what was going on because it was just a test, but shouldn't those environmental changes have tipped her off that there actually was still a connection? Or maybe she had some sort of mental control over the environment because that hall with all the doors did seem to be the perfect thing to buy her some time.
Also where was this Duo guy in the real world. Surely its someone she knew from the real world because of how emotional she got, but it seems like he would've been there in the same room as her when she was revived. Or did they just implant a memory of him being an intimate real world friend into the simulation?

SPOILER: Highlight text to view.
i think she had control over the place, and duo is the guy that unplugs her and tells her to calm down. he wasnīt there, that was a simulation of him else she wouldīve really killed him.
