Red face Must educate 3dmarkers...

No matter how many times you tell them AF does not work in PSX emulation. They don't buy it. It's like...


Well it's like they don't want to hear it or somethen? =\

pete needs to go in there and set them straight

Actually, when I turn AF on using Pete's D3D I get some image improvements, it filters the image in a similar fashion to the "Extended" filtering option. Only works with D3D though.

Both shots below were taken with the same settings, and Filtering set to 0.

Yup. Anistropic Filtering was merely doing billinear ^^ You were just forcing the drivers to do Billinear by turning on anistropic. If that makes any sense

Probs because anistropic filtering requires bilinear (at a guess)

I don't think so, if that was the case I'd be getting the same effect with OpenGL.
