I voted for 'other'. I like the Monty Python movies. The humor is so dumb, it's funny. It got me rollin' on the floor when a man should have been stoned to death for sayin Jehova, in The Life Of Brian. Instead of him got stoned, they killed the priest.....
I'll never forget it.

The greatest movies are the godfather series this is because everything in that movies was done perfect. Every other movie had flaws in them but the Godfather is perfect. The two movies that come close to perfection is Minority Report and Citizen Kane.

Also why isn't Goodfellas up there?

Ha....my brother would probably agree with you there.....me, personally, I never really liked it SOO much....it's okay....and i've seen it more than 5 times, but even then it's not SOO good. Me, if I wanna see Harrison Ford at his best, watch Star Wars or Indiana Jones.....oh yeah, another Fantastic movie is The Fugitive.

The Shawshank Redemtion (added it) is without a doubt the greatest film of all time. Followed closely by LOTR, Star Wars and the Usual Suspects (adding the Rurouni Kenshin OVAs if Anime could count)

Hmm good question. I think Independence day was an awesome Movie.

Back to the Future series,

Star War series,

Star trek series keeps getting more and more disapointing. Nemesis was a complete let down =\

Lord of the Rings is really good. But ask me in 3 years when its no longer a big fad.

Hell there was a time when I thought titanic was the most awesome movie ever, Now I cannot stand watching it~

Yea i think its kinda early calling a "greatest series ever" on a series that isnt going to be completed until another year, i say lord of the rings, i read the hobbit, and then the lotr series. Its a really good book, the leave out tons of things in the movie then they do the book, most of it is different, like in fellowship of the ring, it seems like there isnt that much time, that most of the running away from the shire thing happened in a few days, but in the book it was actually going on for months before frodo left the shire. Anyway, LoTr was pretty good, James Bond anyone? for all you old schoolers...

i agree about Shawshank redemption and LotR... i still love watching both movies, SR was a really emotional movie at parts though, sometimes funny too, but it had a great ending and the progression was excellent
