Question Your predictions for 2003?

I RZetlin will channel the spirit of Nostradamus through my body. I will gaze into the crystal ball and see the future of 2003. Here are the thoughts Nostradamus has told me:

1) I see a future covered in dark clouds. For it is written, “Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”

2) Both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond will receive the number of a man. And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark.

3) A nuke will be used. It is expected, but still they are shocked.

4) A major animation studio will suffer a major financial setback. Many will mourn.

5) There will be a major event in the anime industry the likes we haven’t seen.

6) The first Hollywood anime live action will be created –the sign of the end.

7) There will be a deciding decision in the video game wars that will make a major player no more.

8) A well-known American political will enter into the entertainment business. A talkback show perhaps?

9) A great mechanical wonder will come.

10) A new video game genre will be introduced to America.

those are some pretty nice predictions, the end times are near, that is also what i believe, but wait it out a few years, trust me, mabye like, 20 or so years, i've been doing some research on the end times and predicting when Jesus will return again for a 2nd time, this is Christian belif but i just want to share it because its Phillosiphy too, anyway.

Researches believe that there was something more to God making the world in 7 days. If you think about it, why is it 7? then you ask, what if it means something else? what if, instead of 7 days, it can be translated into 7 THOUSAND years? Can this guess be the time man spends on earth? Hmm? Lets think...

It is believed that the time of Adam And Eve, to the time of Jesus Christ, of Nazereth, was Approximately 4,000 years. think of that as 4 days! then the time between the telling of the comming of the Messiah, and Jesus' actuall comming to earth through the emaculate conseption is another 1000 years...Now tell me, that leaves only 2000 years left correct? well what year are we in? 2002, this is the reason, that everyone tried to predict the end of the world, on the millenium.

Now the conflict with that statement is, the end of the world has not come, So we must come to other conclusions, what if instead of that meaning the end times, it meant the start of the endtime? We can only guess...now i am sorry about this, but i was watching a telecast on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) about the end times, they prooved almost every aspect of the end times, false prophets beggining to emerge from the middle east, the begining of the war on terrorism, earquakes that can change the earth, tons of stuff, i wish i had the summary of it, i can hook you all up with it later, if i ever find it, its very interesting...

Thats just my post on all the end time stuff you are saying, small, semi-informative, i know sites that are huge and tell about this kind of research. i will keep trying to get that webpage its SOO interesting...But as for your other predictions RZetlin, we will just wait and see...

Matthew 24:36-42
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming."

btw: Jeg, that thread was just asking stuff about the future and living in the past and presents and changing your destiny, this is predictions...i guess they are alike, but still wouldnt hurt to have this thread.

Well that's what Nostradamus told me last night in my bed.

The tooth fairy also paid a visit, but I have no more teeth to give.

Well, being the gamer that I am, I don't care about most world events. Here are my predictions.

1) Square-Enix announces a series of multiplatform RPGs on GameCube and PS2.
2) Nintendo buys large pieces of Capcom.
3) Microsoft buys large pieces of Sega.
4) GameCube sales begin to overtake PS2 sales.
5) Mario Kart Online is brought to GameCube.
6) Konami announces scads of games for GameCube.
7) Nintendo acquires a new 2nd party.
8) Nintendo announces GameBoy Solar.
9) Nintendo announces Pokemon Online.
10) Xbox loses market share in North America and Europe.
11) PS2 emulation shows first signs of real life.

Anyways, that's my take on that. All this has a high probability of happening. Some of it might happen before the end of the year.

-Bush gets his dream and drobs a thermonuvlear device on the Iraqi leadership
-Microsoft begins to gain more ground on the Cube in the West, forcing Nintendo to have to think about a change in strategy.
-Sony's dominance on the console industry slowly starts to slip as plans for an early release of the next generation console are leakefrom SCEJ.
-Britains once again express their disdain for the Euro.
-Icarus is released, running a number of games well on a 1.5GHz system, to much elation from the emulation community.
-AMD releases the Hammer, and begins recover ground lost to Intel.
-The NV30 is finaly released, and shows lacklustre performance. Realising the hurt thewill suffer from this, nVidia ruch to release a much higher clocked version, coinciding with a new Driverset release. The perfomance of this combination blows the latest revision from ATi out of the water.

mine would be just live your live the way you please!

the future might be much worst comparing to what is present due to economic crisis, possible war outbreak in teh Middle East, spread of disease, famine and violence and many more (just seeing reality)

so we must do what should be right for the benefit of all...
