I want you all to know..... I still miss the maggots....l knowing that Exodus and Hanamichi were around some time ago (exodus was here on 24th) made me think.... man, I really miss ther maggot thing.... when I was known, when we all had so much fun (before it got ugly of course)..... sigh* those were the times of joy imn this place for me.... I felt like if you all were my family guys.... since all ended, the good guys were turned into admins, the new guys were turned into admins and I was left kinda forgotten in the past (buried along the war and the armies) this place has turned to be so....... cold.... ther is not fun anymore.... there is no family anymore.....there is no purpose here anymore.... i will continue here but... is it worth?... is there any reason to be happy or have normal times instead of good times?

this is not an "I am leaving" thread....just is a thing I wanted to exprerss that's all....

Things are still quite fun in here. Alot of the admins have lighten up abit as well and I can sense that a little of the atmosphere of the old days are back(Ryos' existance greatly effects this, atleast to me). Of course, too many people are missing but it cant be helped... Xeven came back sometime ago too but has left again it seems.
But its best that the war thing be left alone, as it nearly destroyed the forums (you meant saying this didnt you?)

and.... well.... it is good that the "ugly lame war" is gone as you stated it almost destroyed the forums, along with my reputation and so many facts around many of us...... but the "good" war was nice and its purpose was served for some time before noobs jumped in.....*sigh* I miss those times

No, I dont think so. Its best that the whole thing be taken as a lesson, let the times when it was fun and when it got ruined be remembered and keep it at that.

i don't know why more and more people say the board's not fun anymore, i still love it here. i come here to have fun, and to see other people's opinion about things, and by that gain experience, learn, whatever. the forum's aren't dying, at least for me it's not.

That's because you're new. The subjects refer to quite some time back during the golden age of Emuforums. I'd say search for the subjects, but most of the threads concerning maggots and/or Batards have been deleted or disappeared.

The forum is a different place than before now, jeg. Though it is still fun to be here, its not nearly as fun as before.

I think the whole story of the Batards and Maggots got flushed away along with the spam forum. But the birth and history of the Batards remains still.

I joined emuforums right when the feud (or flamewar or whatever) was just ending (back with my previous "lost" account). I was pretty lost and had no idea what was going on, so I really didn't pay any attention. If I had been a member earlier though, I doubt I would've taken a side... I'm more of a mediator.
