I wonder if your ads are as dirty as the ones here in the US. Throughout the entire commercials, they don't say anything about their own viewpoints and their policies, they just take the whole commercial insulting the other guy and saying how they suck, are evil, and are incompetent.

At least the voting here is not with some stupid tv ads. the only way a group can enter the governement, is by talking on tv, and when the people don't like it, u just lost a vote. No ads, only the REAL politics..... but i don't like it.

Yeah politics is pretty messed up everywhere. Here they don't just make broad statements about parties though, they have very directed personal attacks. Like "Candidate Joe Shmoe likes to molest children and rape donkeys. Is this really the man you want in office? No."

If they tried that **** in Canada, I would be the first one protesting. I want my right to abstain, and that's final. It's part of our democratic right.

You know that in the Soviet Union they held elections? They always had a 99% voter turnout because you would be labelled as an enemy of the state if you didn't vote. That sounds a lot like this.

The iCT here means that you can't mention another product in your ads unless you can give actualy factual evidence that it is better. Don't know if that applies to Party Political broadcasts tho.

flying voters by the way are people who are listed but their votes used by other people...and ghost voters are people who are practically dead or non-existence and have their named registered for other people to vote.

It's a very effective method of campaigning. Negative ads have been proven to be better than positive ads in getting the message out, perhaps because negative images last longer than positive images.
