Arguements on the topic of music tend to be stupid IMHO. As jeg said, everyone has their own taste. I don't particularly like Metallica, and I don't particularly like Eminem, but I still own CDs by both of them. Check out my amazingly large Winamp Playlisy to see how diverse my taste in music is (thought not yet as diverse as I would like !)

No they didn't. Lars Ulrich, the drummer of Metallica, sued Napster. The rest of the band had to agree, true, but they did not go out publisising his cause. As a band though, they still have some issues with money ie. loving it too much now. They started with their themes of anti-system / war, but releasing things such as S&M and sticking their name on anything they could sell is taking the biscuit
