Placentation refers to the arrangement of ovules in the ovary. The placenta is that portion of the ovary wall to which the ovules are attached.
Parietal placentation means that the ovules are attached to the ovary wall or extensions of it.
Axial placentation means that the ovules are attached to a central column of tissue in a partitioned ovary with as many locules (spaces) as there are carpels in the compound pistil.
Free central placentation means that the ovules are borne free on a central column of tissue not connected by partitions.
Basal placentation means that a single ovule occurs at the base of a unilocular ovary, much like a marble in the bottom of a tea cup

venation
The manner in which the veins are arranged in the leaf. Types - types - Reticulate venation (pinnately and palmately) and parallel venation ((pinnately and palmately) .
Dicots have a fine venation which is netted. The pattern of venation is either pinnate or palmate. Monocots have primarily parallel venation

It's optional in Canada after grade 10. lLike the perfect idiot, I took it right through grade 12. I hated it the whole time.

Now like a bigger idiot, I am taking Psychology 1000 in University. I tell ya. Some people never learn.
