It would be nice the new version of UltraHLE but I don't think that's going to happen... anyone know if corn is updated yet? I got 3.0
can't access the homepage...

well thats ure opinion and besides how can u say that ... he was the one who got an n64 emulator running in the beginning ...i think one can make such a statement only when he or she has constructed a better emu than what reality man had created

Ice2Hot is right. CD-BURN-OUT, make a better emulator by yourself.
Not even then you can come laugh to other people...
Yeah, I cursed my self when I tried the emu and realized that it requires
Voodoo card... thank god the wrappers!

Re: is reality man back (creator of the n64 emaultor called ultrahle )

I agree with you ice2hot, look in the top left corner on screenshot #1 (on the webpage) you can see a small icon that indicates the exit for a dungeon. Ultrahle displays this same icon in the same place (for areas that dont have exits), and when in a dungeon, this icon gets moved onto the main map in bottom right hand corner. The screenshots look a bit 'OpenGl' to me which RealityMan was working on before the supposed quiting (I dont think he has quit, I think he was fed up with the demand for a release. Well his web page is still up, perhaps generating revenue from the ads.) I think we may have a release soon and it'll blow all other N64 emus out of the water (my own opinion). I think RealityMan has done an excellent job on UltraHle, that emu is the only reason why I got into emulation (and spending £100's on Voodoo cards and CPUs to get Zelda running nicely, something that no other N64 emu comes close to, i'm not knocking Nemu64, it's just that it doesn't seem to work well with my hardware). What do others think?

DO NOT insult CD.
he is right in many respects. an opinion of many in the emulation scene is that realityman doesnt have the ability that a lot of uneducated folks thinks he does. as you might recall, ultrahle was a JOINT porject between realityman and epsilon.
please do not make judgements on people when you lack the information. CD knows a lot about the scene and thus is entitled to make such educated judgements.

we are not insulting anyone were just pointing out a fact ..fine RM worked with epsilon to get it running but he did get it running didnt he ....better off than sitting around and making comments on someone's work .no matter how well informed CD might be he does not have a right unless he can make one better than ultrahle ...when he does we'll be glad to accept his comments until then appreicate a mans work rather than critisizing one's work

I guess that we'll just to wait and see what this N64 emulator really is. Looks pretty good from the screenshot.

Re: is reality man back (creator of the n64 emaultor called ultrahle )

It's difficult to judge CD's opinions on anything because he always comes across as suuch a misanthrope (an image he's doubtless entitled to adopt - if you know him).

Saying so and so sucks is pretty lame. What do you mean CD? If Cd wants to make a point then he should make it. Just sounding off makes him appear to be a childish, feckless, poseur. If, on the contrary. he is an intelligent and interesting emulation expert he should act like one.

So there.

Anyhoo, I'm off to play with my toy soldiers until bedtime. Byee!

Re: is reality man back (creator of the n64 emaultor called ultrahle )

ok....

1) That's not a version of UHLE, it's coded by a friend of Azi's, and I don't recall Azi being friends with Epsilon or RM...
2) Make a better emu myself? Why? RM didn't make UHLE, 99% of it was done by Epsilon, all his 'great' work on UHLE 1.5/2.0 is vaporware. kthx.

School yourselves before you start with me, I'd appreciate it.

Re: is reality man back (creator of the n64 emaultor called ultrahle )

Oh, and for those who wished for me to be clear on my points, for UHLE 1.0, RM only coded the GUI, and did some minor CPU work.
(He squashed some bugs I think, not quite sure on that.)

All his other work is vaporware, although I am interested in his Jag emulation project.

Again, educate yourselves before lashing out at someone, it only makes you look dumb :/

Re: is reality man back (creator of the n64 emaultor called ultrahle )

Oh, and for those of you that are going to come back about his supposed work on UltraHLE 1.5/2.0....

It wasn't all that much, sure, replacing the Rendering system with OpenGL was a great touch, but other than that...
All he did was fix a few games, that's really nothing that would 'blow all the others out of the water'...

If you're interested in Emulation that's not vaporware, follow Nemu and Apollo64, and even this new emu...
All three look like they've got a lot going for them, and Nemu is making a pretty big comeback...

Re: is reality man back (creator of the n64 emaultor called ultrahle )

Ok.

1) Learn how to type.
2) His work was highly minimal, that's like me joining the ePSXe team and taking all the credit because I simply help them squash a few bugs.
3) You didn't clear his status, you said he worked with epsilon to get it running....he coded the GUI (simple, and UHLE's GUI is not earth-shaking),
and fixed a few CPU bugs, both you and other people are praising him like a god for almost no work.
4) See 1.

even then he did something . might it be small or big ... he was a part of something .....

as for the fact regarding my typing it aint my fault i can't get this damn voice recognition software to work properly . it gives me alot of errors so still working on it

Re: is reality man back (creator of the n64 emaultor called ultrahle )

By that logic, I can be a self-proclaimed God of emulation because I do testing for ePSXe. Because 'I'm part of something'.
Yea, great work on thinking that up.

As for the typing, likely story....

Now that I think of it, when the heck were you unbanned?
