Talking question to english/american people :]

i'm currently translating the game Chrono Trigger (US) to hungarian, and there's a part where Crono's mom says this line to Crono:
"Dreams are for sleepers, son."
i figured out this was some kind of phrase, and none of my dictionaries have it in them, so my final try is asking you people ^_^
thanks in advance! ^^

PS: as a sidenote, i'd like to ask one of the admins to change my username to jegHegy (note the lowercase "j" and the uppercase "H".) thx =^_^=

nyaa.

AFAIK it's not any kind of special phrase. Just translate it as it is.

http://www.zophar.net also has romhacking tools, i got fatilety from there, but an alternative is tile layer pro.
docs i learned from:
http://www.romhacking.org/rhdoc/table/tabdef.txt on tables
http://www.romhacking.org/rhdoc/pointers/point11.doc & http://www.romhacking.org/rhdoc/poin...alpointers.txt on pointers

and hey, it's really easy until you need to modify the programming of the rom (you have to know ASM then), but most of the times that can be avoided.
nyaa

EDIT: no, i don't know asm...that's a fscking pain in the ass :nod2:

jegHegy, I have never seen that line before, so I don't really know what it is supposed to mean. But I don't really think that the phrase has any special meaning.

I´m not an english parlant but that phrase is also used here in México and it doesn´t have a special meaning.

I guess that Chrono´s Mother used it to describe that when you want a reallity you have to fight for it, not just dream how the things will be. "Dreams are for Dreamers"
