It's a simple solution, I follow it and it does a lot of good if everyone else does...JUST IGNORE THE LLAMAS!...errr lamers.
And if such individual lamers continue to bugg you constantly, notify the admins and ban the guy. There is no point in shouting "Emuforums has gone the the drain" constantly complain about lamers. There's no point in reminiscing "oh, how emuforums used to be or how it should be. You can't regulate the forums to the point where it is overdone and causing th forums to be pretty much dead. That fact of life is...lamers will never go away no matter which board you go to. Listen, its simple, there are script methods to prevent threads with rom begging etc etc. However, the bottom line is IGNORE THEM. And if any such individual continues (ie. post spammings), ban them. |

Perhaps lamers can not be removed totally, but the site could remove many of the problems, and lamers never get ignored, they provoke each other, and would cause soo much nuscence that it would just get worse, and they don't worry about being ignored, as they piss the mods off, with illegal crap, that the mods may just give up, so........ have alook at this....

THANK YOU!!!!!!
I was starting to think that only I was beginning to think that all the threads ranting about Lamers was more lame than the lamers themselves. (Although I'm sure that some here think that I'm one of the lamers myself) |

Ninja - your not a lamer, but I have already said that the number of posts about lamers was alittle bad, thats why I have put my thoughts on a solution in the site feed back, and @ Sanhime, have you ever heard of 'the person is intelligent, the public is stupid' trust me it takes one person to get pissed off, and bang it spirals out of control, and do you see anyone ignoring now, if they don't ignore now, they won't in the future.

Personally, I'm more concern with lamers in real life. Here's a comparable example with lamers in real life...
Lamers = extreme liberal leftist, aka PITA, aka NOW, aka vegans, aka Jesse Jackson Al Sharpton, aka the Senator Kennedy, aka people with no balls, aka the Democratic Party, the guy who thought up Canada's insane immigration policy, aka France. Llamas = extreme rightwing, aka Limbah, aka Anti-American militias in Montana, aka conservative reiligious-right, aka mullahs. Last edited by Sanhime; June 11th, 2002 at 17:02. |

Closed. The thread in site feedback will do the job (and get noticed, unlike any in OT)
