Question Sat Ii

I'm selecting the course schedule for my junior year this weekend. I was wondering, assuming that I go to some tech college in the Northwestern area of US (hopefully MIT, CalTech, Stanford, etc...), would they want require SAT II for Physics? If they do, then I would have to take Physics instead of AP Chem next year, and that really screws with my schedule. HELP!!! :help:

Well wouldn't it depend on what you want to major in? I have a friend that got accepted to those schools, but she took two sciences, Chem and Physics. But she's also a genius. I'm sure that helped a little.

edit: I only took one science SAT (Bio)

I'm thinking of becoming either an engineer or a physicist. If I take AP Chem next year, then I won't be able to take SAT II on Physics until after I finish AP Physics in 12th grade, which means that colleges won't get that grade.

I did. But I need to decide by Friday, and I doubt that they'll reply by then.

Why don't you become a bus driver instead?

seriously, try calling the schools themselves. I'm sure it's worth a long-distance call charge.

colleges will accepts SAT scores up until Xmas of your senior year, and some will accept January scores too, if you are doing regular decision. I took an SAT2 math test in Jan. (and i'm a senior).

Well, I'm taking SATII Math IIC in May, so I'm not too worried about Math. It's just that I have no clue if I should take SATII in chem or physics.
